Job Description The Sr. Presales Engineer will be responsible for managing all aspects of the technical solution in the Presales phase of large and complex projects. As an architect of our proposals, this responsibility involves development, design, evaluation, and modification of system solutions and architecture to meet customer requirements. In addition, this engineer has to be knowledgeable about all stages of the project implementation - starting from scope definition until the final close-out. Job Description

The Sr. Presales Engineer will be responsible for managing all aspects of the technical solution in the Presales phase of large and complex projects. As an architect of our proposals, this responsibility involves development, design, evaluation, and modification of system solutions and architecture to meet customer requirements. In addition, this engineer has to be knowledgeable about all stages of the project implementation - starting from scope definition until the final close-out.

The incumbent must be capable of:

The team concentrates on the following mission-critical communications technologies at various levels of complexity: Public Safety grade mobile/portable voice and data networks, Advanced Mobile devices, Public Safety mobile broadband networks and devices (LTE), Integrated Command and Control: 9-1-1 Dispatch Consoles, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD)Intelligence Led Public Safety: Real time video and data analytics.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Radio Coverage design and analysis
  • End-to-end solution design
  • Equipment list generation for LMR and Ecosystem solutions
  • Description of system design, including diagrams
  • Understanding customer requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science, preferred emphasis in Electrical, Wireless, Computer, Network Engineering, or Computer Science
  • 4+ years of experience in engineering or solutions architecture
  • Strong general knowledge of wireless communications fundamentals and voice/data architectures - both public and private (e.g. APCO P25, LTE, 802.11, 3G/4G) highly desirable
  • Strong general knowledge of IP networking architecture, protocols and security highly desirable
  • Knowledge of RF coverage predictions, traffic/capacity modeling, and related toolsets an asset
  • A positive attitude with a can-do mentality that enables you to be creative, resourceful and deliver results
  • Strong written and oral communications skills with the ability to present complex topics to technical and nontechnical audiences

Target Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 USD
