SHIFT LEADER Job Profile: Summary Shift Leaders are responsible for management of the processes and people needed to deliver great and friendly guest experience during their assigned shift. They oversee the preparation of products according to operational and quality standards and manage the service provided by the store team to deliver a great guest experience. Shift Leaders are responsible for providing leadership, direction and coaching to Crew Members throughout their shift. Shift Leaders assign crew positions, set shift expectations, motivate team members and, provide timely feedback to correct deficiencies or reward success. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Managing A Positive Team Environment Arrive in a timely manner to prepare for your scheduled shift. Demonstrate respect and dignity in dealing with others including team members and guests. Follow the communication guideline established in your store. Talk employees into, through, and out of position on each shift, communicating responsibilities, providing feedback, and recognizing achievements in a respectful manner. Deploy team members appropriately to meet guests' needs and service standards throughout shift. Support training of Crew Members as directed by General Manager or Assistant Manager. Communicate goals and hold team members accountable for performance during shift. Drive sense of urgency through Crew Members to satisfy guests' needs and resolve problems. Reinforce the use of systems, tools, and procedures throughout shift, while taking appropriate steps to correct deficiencies. Monitor team performance to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness standards are met throughout shift. Ensure restaurant standards and marketing initiatives are properly executed during shift. Follow all systems and processes to control labor costs, food costs, and cash throughout shift. Monitor and ensure Crew Members comply with all policies and procedures related to cleanliness, food safety, and restaurant safety and security during shift. Report equipment issues, provide Crew Member performance feedback, and discuss other restaurant opportunities with General Manager. Comply with all restaurant, Brand, and franchisee policies. Respond positively to coaching and feedback, and show passion for learning. Hold yourself accountable for your designated responsibilities on your shift. Dedicate yourself to learning and being capable of executing multiple tasks. Directly reporting to a Site Leader, OAs play an essential role at Gopuff that requires drive, perseverance, positivity, and enthusiasm for the challenge. You will accomplish a variety of operations responsibilities including picking, packing, receiving product both within our site and accompanying kitchen (if applicable), and working with our partner drivers. Responsibilities: Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers Receive and unpack pallets of product from vendors, ensure physical inventory count matches purchase order/invoice, and resolve discrepancies Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders Clean and organize sales floor and overall facility Manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practice Contact customer for substituted or out-of-stock items Handle, scan and move product in a safe and well-organized manner Stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach and walk during shifts Use carts, pallet jacks, dollies and other equipment to move product Handle products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol Work in freezer locations periodically throughout shifts Capability to walk several flights of steps periodically throughout the day Prepare quality beverages and food menu items for all customers by observing all recipes and presentation standards Ensure accuracy of all food and beverage packaged for delivery Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products Receive and put away order/invoice, and resolve discrepancies when they do not match expiration requirements Maintain Kitchen Facility organization and standards to ensure resources can be accessed while managing waste and spoilage through mindful pouring and food preparation Prepare, package and stage/handoff orders Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Experience working in a restaurant or retail environment (preferred, not required) The ability to work a fluid schedule and be available during peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts) General working knowledge of basic web-based software applications (e.g. Google G-Suite) Stand and walk for the duration of an assigned shift Lift up to 49 pounds Available to work flexible hours that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays #LI-DNP #XOR-NS Pay Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing and pay may vary depending on your location. Summary

Shift Leaders are responsible for management of the processes and people needed to deliver great and friendly guest experience during their assigned shift. They oversee the preparation of products according to operational and quality standards and manage the service provided by the store team to deliver a great guest experience.

Shift Leaders are responsible for providing leadership, direction and coaching to Crew Members throughout their shift. Shift Leaders assign crew positions, set shift expectations, motivate team members and, provide timely feedback to correct deficiencies or reward success.

  • Arrive in a timely manner to prepare for your scheduled shift.
  • Demonstrate respect and dignity in dealing with others including team members and guests.
  • Follow the communication guideline established in your store.
  • Talk employees into, through, and out of position on each shift, communicating responsibilities, providing feedback, and recognizing achievements in a respectful manner.
  • Deploy team members appropriately to meet guests' needs and service standards throughout shift.
  • Support training of Crew Members as directed by General Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • Communicate goals and hold team members accountable for performance during shift.
  • Drive sense of urgency through Crew Members to satisfy guests' needs and resolve problems. Reinforce the use of systems, tools, and procedures throughout shift, while taking appropriate steps to correct deficiencies.
  • Monitor team performance to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness standards are met throughout shift.
  • Ensure restaurant standards and marketing initiatives are properly executed during shift.
  • Follow all systems and processes to control labor costs, food costs, and cash throughout shift.
  • Monitor and ensure Crew Members comply with all policies and procedures related to cleanliness, food safety, and restaurant safety and security during shift.
  • Report equipment issues, provide Crew Member performance feedback, and discuss other restaurant opportunities with General Manager.
  • Comply with all restaurant, Brand, and franchisee policies.
  • Respond positively to coaching and feedback, and show passion for learning.
  • Hold yourself accountable for your designated responsibilities on your shift.
  • Dedicate yourself to learning and being capable of executing multiple tasks.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
