Budget & Resource Management: Assist in managing ICT/Security budgets, resource allocation, and project prioritization to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. Instructors teach students every week in a variety of classes within the disciplines of science, outdoor education, and leadership development. In the role of Colorado ICT (Information and Communication Technology)/Security Business Class Leader, we'll count on you to:

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and manage a team of ICT/Security professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance.

  • Collaboration with ICT/Security Director: Work closely with the ICT/Security Director to achieve both short-term and long-term business and technical goals, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor team performance and provide regular reports to upper management on progress towards key objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Problem Resolution & Decision Making: Address any operational issues promptly, making informed decisions to resolve problems while minimizing impact on service delivery and project timelines.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Assist in managing ICT/Security budgets, resource allocation, and project prioritization to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

ICT/Security Design Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, select and apply state-of-the-art ICT/Security systems, techniques, procedures, design and modifications
  • Design and specify ICT/Security systems including but not limited to fiber optic backbones, horizontal cabling, bonding and cabling pathways
  • Take responsibility for complete set of construction documents
  • Understand that assignments have objectives that require investigation of many variables
  • Independently perform ICT/Security engineering assignments with broad general instruction from Project Manager as to the results expected
  • Select and recommend procedures, ICT devices and equipment; write specifications covering all ICT system matters; perform reviews and work directly with owners as a part of project team
  • Assist other Designers, Project Coordinators or Technicians as needed, and be responsible for work in all phases of security design process
  • Conduct QA/QC on the work of other Project Coordinators or Technicians as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed

  • RCDD (Registered Communication Distribution Designer) or (PSP) Physical Security Professional
  • LI-BC1

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
