INTELLIGENCE ANALYST (ISR-FOCUSED) – SENIOR Location: Colorado Springs, CO | Type: Full-Time | Clearance: TS/SCI – SAP Eligible Note: This position is part of an active proposal effort and are contingent upon contract award. Overview DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a Senior Intelligence Analyst (ISR-focused) to support HQ SpOC. In this role, you will integrate intelligence across planning, acquisition, and operations to strengthen U.S. Space Force mission readiness. Responsibilities include ISR support, exercise planning, IJSTO/IO integration, and coordination with joint and interagency partners to deliver actionable intelligence for space control operations. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive staff support including task response, document review and development, training plan validation, and SAP policy integration. Provide intelligence support to Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations (IJSTO) and Information Operations, including analysis, operational planning, employment, and exercise support. Participate in planning conferences; design exercise scenarios and materials; integrate space-related objectives to meet USSF training requirements. Support operational exercises by coordinating with STARCOM DELTA 10 and other participants, ensuring alignment with objectives and campaign plans. Deliver intelligence inputs during exercises, including participation in meetings, information gathering, and providing updates to government leads (not acting as white cell or trusted agent for external organizations). Develop responses and staff packages for higher headquarters-directed evaluation requests; support strategic planning documentation. Assist in integrating intelligence into operational and exercise planning across the full lifecycle of space control capabilities. Research and deliver intelligence products on adversary capabilities to inform acquisition and operations. Lead and facilitate working groups, capture findings, and report on system delivery, sustainment, and PPBE tasks. Prepare threat summaries aligned with authoritative references; translate mission needs into RFIs and manage intelligence requirements. Support JCIDS, Quick Reaction Capabilities, and rapid acquisition processes. Minimum Qualifications Active TS/SCI security clearance; SAP eligibility. Minimum of 10 years of intelligence analysis experience, including at least 3 years in ISR integration supporting military/defense space operations. Experience in planning, collaboration with joint and interagency partners, and intelligence integration into mission execution. At least one (1) year of experience or formal training in ISR. Bachelor’s degree required OR an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Desired Qualifications Professional Military Education (PME) and/or advanced intelligence certifications. DAWIA Level II/III in Program Management or Systems Engineering. Certifications related to ISR operations or joint operational planning. Experience with SEW, SDA, or related mission areas. The role demands an individual who can contribute to the development of innovative solutions for satellite ground systems and space network ground segments.  Our partner designs and manufactures advanced spacecraft, commercial space destinations, satellites, propulsion and environmental systems, spacecraft subsystems and components for the U.S. government, commercial customers, and international organizations.  Responsibilities:  Develop, integrate, and test software for satellite systems in collaboration with customers and vendors.  Ensure the operation and maintenance of mission-critical software for command, control, monitoring, and telemetry of systems on satellites.  Work within an agile software development team, guiding features from requirement development through design, implementation, and testing.  Interface with customers, suppliers, application users, and other technical and support personnel.  Oversee the full software lifecycle, including design, development, test, delivery, and maintenance.  Adhere to modern DevSecOps development practices and utilize Agile frameworks.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of software with project goals and requirements.  Familiarity with standard satellite frameworks including CFS, OMS, and UCI.  Perform thorough testing and troubleshooting for software reliability and functionality.  Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous code quality improvement.  Must-haves:  Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or other related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience  Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education  A higher-level degree may substitute for experience  Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices  Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams  Preferred:  Proficiency with DevOps and CI/CD methodologies.  Agile development experience  Experience with satellite system development, particularly in distributed command and control, data processing, or mission planning software  Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++ in an embedded LINUX environment  Cross-disciplinary knowledge in software engineering, hardware engineering, integration, test engineering, quality engineering, and configuration/data management  Familiarity with test and security milestones (TRR, FAT/SAT, IATT, ATO)  Familiarity with development milestones (SRR, PDR, CDR)  Experience with various aspects of satellite system software (mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, flight dynamics models)  Guidance navigation control experience  KALMAN Filters  Development and deployment of simulation (software), emulation (hardware) for test and integration  FDIR (Fault, Detection, Isolation, and Recovery) familiarity  Familiarity with strict embedded systems hardware and software timing   Familiarity with satellite command constructs and frameworks including, but not limited to, immediate commands, timed commands, and sequencing  Telemetry and on-board data management  Type I Encryption and key management experience   Strong problem-solving and analytical skills  Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities  Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment  A commitment to continuous learning and development in software engineering practices  Min. INTELLIGENCE ANALYST (ISR-FOCUSED) – SENIOR
Location: Colorado Springs, CO | Type: Full-Time | Clearance: TS/SCI – SAP Eligible
Note: This position is part of an active proposal effort and are contingent upon contract award.

Overview
DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a Senior Intelligence Analyst (ISR-focused) to support HQ SpOC. In this role, you will integrate intelligence across planning, acquisition, and operations to strengthen U.S. Space Force mission readiness. Responsibilities include ISR support, exercise planning, IJSTO/IO integration, and coordination with joint and interagency partners to deliver actionable intelligence for space control operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive staff support including task response, document review and development, training plan validation, and SAP policy integration.
  • Provide intelligence support to Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations (IJSTO) and Information Operations, including analysis, operational planning, employment, and exercise support.
  • Participate in planning conferences; design exercise scenarios and materials; integrate space-related objectives to meet USSF training requirements.
  • Support operational exercises by coordinating with STARCOM DELTA 10 and other participants, ensuring alignment with objectives and campaign plans.
  • Deliver intelligence inputs during exercises, including participation in meetings, information gathering, and providing updates to government leads (not acting as white cell or trusted agent for external organizations).
  • Develop responses and staff packages for higher headquarters-directed evaluation requests; support strategic planning documentation.
  • Assist in integrating intelligence into operational and exercise planning across the full lifecycle of space control capabilities.
  • Research and deliver intelligence products on adversary capabilities to inform acquisition and operations.
  • Lead and facilitate working groups, capture findings, and report on system delivery, sustainment, and PPBE tasks.
  • Prepare threat summaries aligned with authoritative references; translate mission needs into RFIs and manage intelligence requirements.
  • Support JCIDS, Quick Reaction Capabilities, and rapid acquisition processes.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance; SAP eligibility.
  • Minimum of 10 years of intelligence analysis experience, including at least 3 years in ISR integration supporting military/defense space operations.
  • Experience in planning, collaboration with joint and interagency partners, and intelligence integration into mission execution.
  • At least one (1) year of experience or formal training in ISR.
  • Bachelor’s degree required OR an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Desired Qualifications
  • Professional Military Education (PME) and/or advanced intelligence certifications.
  • DAWIA Level II/III in Program Management or Systems Engineering.
  • Certifications related to ISR operations or joint operational planning.
  • Experience with SEW, SDA, or related mission areas.
