Lead and manage the execution of processes, projects, and tactics. Responsible for adjusting or recommended enhancements in systems and processes to solve complex problems or improve productivity. Manage the work of a team consisting of junior and experienced staff who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments, by providing guidance and support to drive at high-performing levels. Proactively identify operational challenges and bottlenecks, define strategies to mitigate issues promptly while managing clear and concise communications and organizational escalation. This will require the candidate to be hands-on and learn our processes. Produce executive level reports with actionable insights, highlighting key performance metrics, and trends. Drive compliance with operational standards and best practices, ensuring adherence to industry regulations. Job Summary

The IT Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for contract performance, providing leadership and oversight for the technical, administrative, and financial execution of the DHS CISA Priority Services contract. This role ensures the successful delivery of carrier integration, sustainment, and operational support for GETS, WPS, and Next-Generation NS/EP services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single Point of Contact (POC) for DHS COR, CO, and Technical Leads
  • Lead and manage program tasks, schedules, and deliverables in accordance with the SOW
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and telecom carriers to maintain service continuity
  • Oversee performance reporting, budgeting, QPMRs, and resource planning
  • Ensure compliance with DHS security protocols and classified data handling
  • Participate in Service Provider Council (SPC) meetings to resolve interoperability issues

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunications, or related field
  • 10+ years of project/program management experience in federal IT or telecom environments
  • PMP certification (Preferred)
  • Experience managing carrier relationships and government contracts
  • SECRET clearance (active)
  • Strong understanding of NS/EP services (GETS, WPS, NGN)
