Requirements Primary Responsibilities: · Work with security operations center (SOC) and internal cyber resources to spot weak points · Develop software solutions to close holes in our information systems’ security posture · Address application and programming security flaws · Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools · Proactively assist in keeping the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability · Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks · Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies · Address daily maintenance of cloud, mobile and local system cyber capabilities · Participate in the design of information and operational support systems · Provide Tier 1 (onsite/help desk), 2 (subject matter support) and 3 (vendor) support · Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution Minimum Qualifications: · BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related subject · 0-2 years of experience with IT systems or in an information assurance or cyber role · Knowledge of SEIM and event management software and tools like Splunk, Defender, etc. · Working knowledge in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux based environments. · Familiar with techniques in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Ruby, NGINX) · Familiar with Cloud platforms, preferably with Microsoft · Knowledge of virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box) · Knowledge of IT monitoring systems · Knowledge of automation software (e.g., Puppet, cfengine, Chef) · Occasional travel · Onsite in Orlando, FL Preferred Qualifications: · Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject · 2-4 years of experience with IT systems or in an information assurance or cyber role · Technical Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Professional and other vendors desired Knowledge and Skills: · Scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python) · Networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP) · Able to document day-to-day systems changes and associated procedures · Understanding of working with various operating systems and their implications Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment · Ability to solve practical problems while maintaining strict compliance with existing policies, procedures, and established standards · Highly motivated, positive attitude, with enthusiasm to learn new skills and technologies at a fast pace · Strong written/oral communication skills · Ability to work independently Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. About the position:

TJFACT is seeking to hire a well-qualified Records Information Manager IV (Onsite) to join our team in support of U.S. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY in Dallas, TX.

This role is contingent upon reward.

 

This contract will provide records management, enterprise content management, digitization support for records within the programs, and support conversion efforts for the operation of the centralized Region 6 Center.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for successful operation of contracted records centers, docket centers, and other ongoing information service functions at a specific work site. Supervises exempt and non-exempt contract staff at work site.
  • Staff may include but is not limited to, other Records/Information Managers, Records/Information Management Specialists, as well as other staff.
  • Receives technical direction from the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) or others named in the Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Assists with contract management procedures and contract deliverables, planning and program development, analysis of records, docket; and information management problems, and design of strategies and procedures to meet ongoing records management needs.
  • Performs technical duties as required, including, but not limited to: records information service; docket management service; development of procedures; collection and inventory management; organization and classification; indexing and abstracting; training EPA staff in records, records centers, dockets, docket centers, and other information services procedures; database development (using Agency approved off the shelf software) and utilization, such as use of the Federal Docket Management System (FDMS).
  • Records Information Manager IV will serve as the Site Manager and is expected to be on site every day.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 7 years of records management experience
  • Experience with at least one automated system
  • Possess minimum Public Trust

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A college degree is preferred.
