The Football Information Season Associate will utilize data analysis, data visualization, statistical modeling, and other techniques to assist the club's Football Operations department in evaluating league-wide trends and player-specific metrics by identifying key insights for decision makers. This internship is temporary and would begin approximately June 2026 and will end approximately May 2027. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The Season Associate position will have daily responsibilities including, without limitation, the following: Work with other members of the Football Information Department to create and maintain tools and resources for coaches, scouts, and other staff members within the front office. Analyze large quantities of football data to develop actionable insights for decision-makers. Utilize statistical programming, machine learning, and data visualization skills to complete various projects to help club better understand trends in both professional and college football. Detects and investigates data breaches, insider threats, and exfiltration attempts; leads data-centric incident response through containment, analysis, and recovery. Implements and enforces data classification, labeling, and tagging frameworks integrated with AWS S3, RDS, and enterprise file systems. Designs and manages encryption and key management solutions using AWS KMS, CloudHSM, and on-premise HSMs to secure data at rest and in transit. Collaborates with development and DevOps teams to embed data protection into CI/CD pipelines and application code, ensuring secure data handling throughout SDLC. Conducts forensic reviews and produces actionable reports, metrics, and dashboards highlighting data risks and anomalies across hybrid systems. Leads complex data protection initiatives and resolves data security risks. Leads enterprise data security projects, including AWS DLP implementation, sensitive data discovery, structured/unstructured data protection, and automated alerting. Job Description

The Football Information Season Associate will utilize data analysis, data visualization, statistical modeling, and other techniques to assist the club's Football Operations department in evaluating league-wide trends and player-specific metrics by identifying key insights for decision makers.

This internship is temporary and would begin approximately June 2026 and will end approximately May 2027.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Season Associate position will have daily responsibilities including, without limitation, the following:

  • Work with other members of the Football Information Department to create and maintain tools and resources for coaches, scouts, and other staff members within the front office.
  • Analyze large quantities of football data to develop actionable insights for decision-makers.
  • Utilize statistical programming, machine learning, and data visualization skills to complete various projects to help club better understand trends in both professional and college football.
