Deliver weekly updates to stakeholders via streamlined sprint metrics and KPI reporting. Identify and implement improvements in reporting, processes, and infrastructure to enhance team efficiency. Uncover dependencies and blockers, providing actionable recommendations to mitigate risk. Maintain comprehensive documentation - including workflows, data governance and implementation guides - in collaboration with IT and business teams. Meticulously prepare and maintain all project artifacts such as functional requirements, action items, decision points, test cases, project timelines, gap analysis, meeting notes and agendas. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a business analyst - exposure to AI technologies and data-driven projects a strong plus. Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical and executive audiences. Driven by a passion for emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and automation, with a proactive mindset towards continuous learning and hands-on experimentation. Comfortable leading workshops, discovery sessions, and UAT coordination. Position Overview:

Shields Health Solutions is seeking a strategic, results-oriented Business Analyst to join our fast-paced Emerging Technology team. As a BA on the Emerging Tech team, you'll be at the heart of innovation - translating ideas into impactful solutions. You'll collaborate closely with business stakeholders to define requirements, lead user acceptance testing, analyze issues, and guide successful rollouts. Acting as a strategic bridge between business and technology, you'll help deliver meaningful outcomes and contribute to the success and growth of the Emerging Technology project portfolio - including the development of our AI Center of Excellence.

The ideal candidate is a clear communicator, a tactical thinker, and a data-savvy problem solver. You'll bring an entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical skills, and a passion for people and complex data to deliver insights that keep stakeholders aligned in a rapidly evolving tech landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and present functional and technical requirements to both business and IT stakeholders.
  • Generate complex user stories and develop clear acceptance criteria to support UAT.
  • Investigate and resolve issues through detailed analysis and collaboration.
  • Deliver weekly updates to stakeholders via streamlined sprint metrics and KPI reporting.
  • Identify and implement improvements in reporting, processes, and infrastructure to enhance team efficiency.
  • Uncover dependencies and blockers, providing actionable recommendations to mitigate risk.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation - including workflows, data governance and implementation guides - in collaboration with IT and business teams.
  • Meticulously prepare and maintain all project artifacts such as functional requirements, action items, decision points, test cases, project timelines, gap analysis, meeting notes and agendas.
  • Facilitate project status meetings with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Proactively suggest enhancements to existing reports, metrics, and analytics to better measure business performance.
  • Support automation efforts for KPI reporting and UAT processes to drive scalability and consistency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a business analyst - exposure to AI technologies and data-driven projects a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical and executive audiences.
  • Driven by a passion for emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and automation, with a proactive mindset towards continuous learning and hands-on experimentation.
  • Comfortable leading workshops, discovery sessions, and UAT coordination.
  • Must be a highly motivated, results-driven professional with an entrepreneurial attitude who can thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deliverables.
  • Proficient Excel and SQL skills preferred.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), and/or UI design tools (e.g., Figma) a plus.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

Job Salary:

An employee in this position can expect a salary rate between $95,000 and $115,000 plus bonus pursuant to the terms of any bonus plan if applicable. The actual salary will depend on experience, seniority, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law.
