Job Purpose

We are hiring an IT Client Services Intern for our Bonita Springs, FL Office. The IT Client Services Intern will assist internal customers with both Windows and Mac laptops and mobile devices such as iPhone and iPads.

You will be hands-on alongside our full-time team making improvements to our office environment, updating physical hardware, providing tech support across all departments, and documenting internal IT Support solutions.

Our IT Client Services Intern has a can-do attitude, is a collaborative problem solver who enjoys helping people. The perfect candidate is unafraid to ask questions and is comfortable learning independently. This candidate will troubleshoot in real-time and listen attentively to the end user. Responsiveness and follow-up will be critical to providing excellent customer service.

What you will do...

We are looking for a Problem Solver who enjoys resolving interesting challenges. You will:

  • Have experience working on Windows and Apple laptops and peripherals.
  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.
  • Check computer hardware to ensure functionality.
  • Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
  • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems
  • Work with IT Asset Management to ensure assets are properly tracked.
  • Have service desk experience.

Requirements

  • Some hands-on experience as IT Technician, Desktop Support, or relevant position
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication ability
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Good understanding of diverse computer systems
  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • Working on an associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or relevantfield
  • Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified ITProfessional)
  • Candidates must be currently residing in the Bonita Springs, FL area for this onsite/in-officeposition.
  • Be able to work 40 hours/week between 8am-5pm Monday - Friday
