As Trainees continue to refine their skills, they have opportunities to generalize and apply their newly developed skills in various activities out in the community with the support of staff members. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago Job Description Teaches children with emotional and/or learning problems and communicates the academic and behavioral progress of children on the inpatient psychiatry unit. Understands and integrates into the delivery of patient care the needs of pediatric and adolescent patients in regard to their growth and development process. Clinical Service Provides daily instruction to patients with behavioral and emotional disorders. Creates daily lesson plans and delegation of work for staff, students and volunteers.
