What you’ll do : Develop and review a comprehensive LXMO/LMRT curriculum with specific alignment to ARRT’s Limited Scope of Practice in Radiography exam and competency standards. Evaluate instructional materials to ensure content accuracy per certification competencies. Collaborate with program managers, content developers and the Stepful internal team to align learning objectives with ARRT exam domains and subdomains. Provide ongoing assessment and feedback to support curriculum improvement and student success. Recommend evidence-based teaching strategies for delivering LXMO/LMRT concepts in a synchronous and asynchronous online format. Review assessment tools to ensure they mirror ARRT’s testing format and cognitive complexity. Stay current on updates to ARRT exams and industry best practices in Limited Scope Radiography. What you’ll bring : Proven experience in developing and managing LXMO/LMRT curriculum aligned with ARRT exam for Limited Scope of Practice in Radiography and (if applicable) state-level competency standards. The opportunity:

We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the design and evaluation of our Limited X-Ray Machine Operator (LXMO/LMRT) program. The SME will ensure that curriculum content meets the rigorous standards of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), specifically with a strong alignment to the Limited Scope of Practice in Radiography exam. The SME will play a key role in validating educational content, advising on instructional strategy, and maintaining industry and regulatory compliance.

This opportunity is fully remote.

Expected hours: 8-15 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and review a comprehensive LXMO/LMRT curriculum with specific alignment to ARRT’s Limited Scope of Practice in Radiography exam and competency standards.

  • Evaluate instructional materials to ensure content accuracy per certification competencies.

  • Collaborate with program managers, content developers and the Stepful internal team to align learning objectives with ARRT exam domains and subdomains.

  • Provide ongoing assessment and feedback to support curriculum improvement and student success.

  • Recommend evidence-based teaching strategies for delivering LXMO/LMRT concepts in a synchronous and asynchronous online format.

  • Review assessment tools to ensure they mirror ARRT’s testing format and cognitive complexity.

  • Stay current on updates to ARRT exams and industry best practices in Limited Scope Radiography.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in developing and managing LXMO/LMRT curriculum aligned with ARRT exam for Limited Scope of Practice in Radiography and (if applicable) state-level competency standards.

  • Prior experience creating synchronous and asynchronous online educational content.

  • At least 5 years of experience in Radiography, Radiography education, or program administration.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health sciences, education or a related field.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Familiarity with instructional design principles, learning management systems, and competency-based education.
