As an Applications Development intern, you’ll be an essential part of our IT team, contributing to the success of our organization.

Role and Responsibilities: As a Developer Intern, you will work alongside experienced developers, gaining practical experience, contributing to real-world projects, and learning about software development methodologies and best practices. This role provides an excellent opportunity for students to apply their classroom knowledge in a professional setting and build valuable skills. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Unit Testing: Writing and executing unit tests to validate individual components of various codebases. This ensures that each function or module behaves as expected and helps maintain code integrity.
  • Integration Testing: Assisting in the creation and execution of integration tests. These tests evaluate how different parts of SFB applications interact with one another, ensuring seamless functionality across the entire system.
  • Basic Code Changes: Implementing minor code modifications based on feedback or requirements. This involves adjusting existing code, fixing bugs, and enhancing features.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a BS Undergraduate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Information System, or Computer Information System.
  • Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Working knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language, C# preferred
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to function effectively in the workplace as exhibited through one’s integrity, courage to act and communication skills.
  • The ability to work with others effectively as exhibited through one’s respect for people and commitment to teamwork.
