Overview
Job Description
- Reports to: Dean of Education
- Assist with coordination of daily operations within the Education Department.
- Audit courses each module to ensure master shells are reviewed and up to date; communicate needed updates to Instructional Design (ID) Specialists within established timelines.
- Review and update syllabi and homework addendums as needed.
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes for PAC meetings, faculty meetings, in-services, and curriculum review meetings.
- Maintain electronic faculty files and generate reports on file completeness for Program Managers.
- Assist with closed captioning for classroom video lectures.
- Review incoming student transcripts for potential transfer credit.
- Run, compile, and distribute weekly reports and survey results.
- Update the Master Textbook List each module in coordination with the Sourcing and Procurement Specialist.
- Maintain clear documentation and effective communication within the department and across teams.
- Coordinate project timelines, schedules, and deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate degree preferred (Business, Communications, Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or related field).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or administrative support.
- Previous project coordination experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- Non-exempt, hourly position
- Pay range: $20 – $25 per hour
- Compensation based on experience, education, and qualifications
