We are looking for professional Retail Sales Associates & Cannabis Enthusiasts. As a Retail Sales Associate, you are the face of Velvet Cannabis focused on providing an exceptional customer experience.

Retail Sales Associate Compensation: $20.00 per/hour

Retail Sales Associate Responsibilities: 

  • Act in a professional manner, greeting customers, facilitating sales, and ensuring exceptional customer experience
  • Advising customers on cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and interests 
  • Keeping up to date with the cannabis industry standards, new products, strains, and changes in laws, as well as industry trends 
  • Processes customer transactions using Velvet’s Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Ensuring the dispensary is clean, stocked, and well-organized at all times
  • Educating customers on the safe use of cannabis products provided at Velvet Dispensary
  • Upsells when appropriate; promote current sales, promotions, discounts, etc.
  • Verifying proper identification of customers to verify they are of legal age to purchase and consume products offered
  • Maintains the professional appearance of the sales floor
  • Inventory of cannabis products
  • Ensuring sales floor is always stocked and well-organized 
  • Assisting in various dispensary operations while maintaining hygienic conditions.
