Overview
Job Description
We're looking for a driven Sales Account Representative to help expand our presence in a growing market.
This is a true field / outside sales role. You'll own your territory, spend your days meeting clients face-to-face, building long-term relationships, and closing new business. You'll be backed by a strong brand, proven sales systems, and a high-performing team that wants you to win.

What You'll Do
- Own and grow a defined sales territory
- Build relationships with property managers, restoration contractors, real estate professionals, and insurance contacts
- Serve as a trusted advisor for clients needing environmental testing services (asbestos, mold, lead, bacteria, etc.)
- Prospect and generate new business through office visits, site visits, industry events, trade shows, and daily face-to-face outreach
- Qualify opportunities by understanding client needs, timelines, budgets, and competitive landscape
- Manage your pipeline from first contact through close, while consistently adding new prospects
- Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals
- Follow up with existing clients to identify upsell and repeat business opportunities
- Stay current on market trends and clearly communicate what sets Vert Environmental apart
- Collaborate with the sales team, share best practices, and contribute to team growth
- Participate in sales meetings, trainings, and industry events
- Help onboard and mentor new sales representatives as the team scales
What We're Looking For
- Field / outside sales experience, including face-to-face client meetings, site visits, or territory management
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Comfortable with local travel as part of your daily routine
- Strong prospecting, lead generation, and closing skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage your time independently
- Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Ability to handle rejection professionally and stay focused on results
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent required; industry experience is a plus
