Responsibilities & Expectations: Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop a career in sales by learning key processes in customer engagement, sales support, an order management. Customer Engagement & Relations: Receive and respond to incoming sales requests via telephone, email, and other channels. Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective customers by providing prompt, professional service, answering inquiries, an addressing their needs. Lead Qualification & Order Management: Qualify leads, provide product recommendations, answer customer inquirers, issue accurate quotes, and process orders to ensure timely delivery. Vendor Coordination: Work with vendors to determine product availability, application, pricing, and delivery timelines to support customer requirements at competitive prices. Sales Collaboration: Communicate with outside sales staff (Account Managers) and work with internal teams to source new customers, business opportunities, and products. Qualifications and Competencies: Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: 0-2 years in inside sales, customer service, or related fields. Technical skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work, Outlook); experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics) is a plus.   • Sales Collaboration: Communicate with outside sales staff (Account Managers) and work with internal teams to source new customers, business opportunities, and products.
  • Product Knowledge: Continuously maintain knowledge of IPS products, vendor offerings, and competing solutions to better assist customers and identify growth opportunities.
  • Operational Support: Assist with after-hours coverage on a rotating schedule, customer account setup, and procurement-related vendor identification.
  • Professionalism and Safety: Promote a strong company image, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and observe all safety procedures.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 0-2 years in inside sales, customer service, or related fields.
  • Technical skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work, Outlook); experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics) is a plus.
  • Customer-Centric: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain relationships.
  • Organized and Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow through on orders, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability and Initiative: Proactive, eager to learn and able to work collaboratively with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Product Knowledge: Willingness to learn and retain detailed knowledge of company products, vendor offerings, and competitive solutions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods of time
