Job Description: SimIS, Inc seeks a skilled and experienced Auditor/Accountant to conduct database audits, configuration audits, and workflow analyses to support the NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT) Office of Internal Audit in performing compliance and integrity audits, inspections, reviews, and audit tests. ACT is NATO’s leading agent for change: driving, facilitating, and advocating the continuous improvement of Alliance capabilities to maintain and enhance military relevance and effectiveness of the Alliance. Experience Required: 8 years of experience in compliance, integrity, or fraud auditing. 6 years of experience in fund management or travel planning, review, and management in a large organization. Experience in compiling, structuring and analyzing large datasets and experience in the field of financial systems, financial and travel planning and management, or computer systems. Experience with operation of automated accounting systems and office automation software packages, particularly spreadsheet applications. Special Skills/Knowledge/Training Required: Master’s Degree in accounting, finance, management, business administration, public administration or related discipline. BS Degree with significant accounting experience will be considered. Due to the sensitive nature of this position, the candidate must disclose any personal or professional relationships with ACT staff within the last 5 years.
