The Blast and Coating Technician is responsible for preparing and applying industrial coatings to equipment and components in accordance with company standards, customer specifications, and safety guidelines. This role involves abrasive blasting, surface preparation, masking, priming, and applying protective coatings in a shop or field setting. Responsibilities: Perform abrasive blasting (grit, sand, or other media) to prepare surfaces for coating. Apply primers, epoxies, urethanes, and other industrial coatings using spray, brush, or roll methods. Read and interpret work orders, data sheets, and technical specifications for coating requirements. Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity) and material properties to ensure proper coating application and curing. Inspect surfaces for cleanliness, profile, and coating thickness using appropriate gauges and tools. Perform masking and taping to protect non-coated areas. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and inspection results. Follow all company safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and respiratory protection. Clean and maintain blasting and coating equipment. Assist with general shop tasks, such as moving parts, rigging, or minor repairs, as needed. Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs. May be responsible for providing back-up driver duties and responsibilities. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. 1-3 years of experience in industrial coating and blasting preferred. Familiarity with coating systems such as epoxy, zinc-rich primers, and polyurethanes. Ability to read and understand technical specifications and safety data sheets (SDS). Comfortable working in confined spaces or at heights with proper training. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Certification in NACE, SSPC, or similar is a plus (but not required). Must be at least 21 years of age. Assess and addresses staff needs for holistic support in a high stress environment. Job Title Dining Room Team Leader Reports to Retail Service Manager Non-Exmept Salary Grade 4 JOB PURPOSE The Dining Services Team Leader is responsible for communications between the staff and Dining Services Supervisors regarding resident satisfaction, service, and daily functions in the Dining Room. The Team Leader must maintain proper sanitation and food handling practices, and is responsible, with direction of the Dining Services Manager or Supervisors, for leading and guiding the wait staff, cashiers, bartenders, and host teams. The Team Leader must be able to make decisions independently regarding staffing and resident satisfaction issues, and will oversee all wait staff training. The Team Leader is expected to be conscious of the team's overall performance and have the knowledge to suggest ways to increase and improve performance. This will all be done while still performing as a member of the wait staff, cashier, bartender, or host teams. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures that all residents receive excellent dining service with attention to detail by walking the service areas, observing and directing staff, while still performing their job duties at the highest level. Ensures appearance standards are met and that all other department and community policies and procedures are adhered to. Has authority to cope with basic problems. Confers with Dining Services Supervisor regarding unusual problems. Adheres to Dining Services dress code, maintaining a clean and neat appearance at all times. When handling cash, insures compliance with all community cash handling policies and follows departmental procedures for recording of cash deposits. QUALIFICATIONS [Education, Training, Skills and Work Experience] High school graduate. Experience in food service and basic computer skills are required. Front of the House and Back of the House knowledge is a plus. Supervisory experience is a plus. Must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to interact with residents and staff congenially. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Ability to use simple math concepts. Able to give and receive verbal communication.
