Primary functional relationships include: Merchandising Brand Marketing Brand Creative Retail Marketing – Visual Merchandising Icon Studio Styling External partners & agencies WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR The candidate is a proven and collaborative leader, strategically minded and fluent in balancing both creativity and business. They help define and drive shaping how the brand shows up across every touchpoint – from Campaign and Digital to Retail experiences. They lead within their field of expertise across Streetwear with a passion for fashion and culture – staying on top of current and future trends in design, creative, and youth culture while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners to operationalize creative vision at scale. Portfolio of relevant work, displaying a passion for the art and science of Styling across Retail, Digital & Campaign. Bachelor's Degree in Fashion, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Design or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training. A minimum of 8 years directly relevant work experience. A positive mentality with proven ability to flex and adapt to changing business needs while maintaining creative quality. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and external creative partners. Subject matter expert of fashion, sport and youth culture – current and past. Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in Keynote, Excel and Photoshop. Mac proficiency strongly preferred. Ability to travel approximately 4 times per year. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON Partner closely with the Senior Director, Styling Design Excellence to define the long-term styling excellence strategy, ensuring that styling direction, tools and world-building principles are embedded across key gates Lead the development of seasonal styling ethos and sell-in tools, that inform & support end in mind styling execution across Retail, Digital & Campaign. A typical week includes styling workshops, photoshoots, trend research and collaborative work sessions with cross-functional partners to ensure styling direction aligns with and reflects key business objectives and seasonal priorities. Oversee photoshoots, room builds, product coordination, and presentation tools that connect design intent to visual story telling Lead, manage and mentor direct reports – providing feedback, building capability, and maintaining alignment. Inspire a culture of collaboration, trust and creative confidence, fostering an environment where ideas flourish. Partner closely with operations on planning and processes for Styling Design Excellence, balancing creative needs with timelines, budgets, and bandwidth across seasons. Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development

  • Engineer manufacturing processes, machinery, support equipment, tooling, and procedures.
  • Create efficient plant layouts to optimize material flow and space utilization.

Project Execution

  • Lead machine construction, component manufacturing, integration, installation, and startup.
  • Manage tasks to meet project timelines and budgets.

Technical Support & Problem Solving

  • Investigate and resolve equipment issues using data analysis and root cause methodologies.
  • Research and select automation components and material handling systems.

Collaboration & Innovation

  • Partner with Fastener Engineering to support new product designs and equipment modifications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legal standards.

Administrative & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain timely reporting, participate in meetings, and manage projects.
  • Develop and improve safe work methods and manufacturing techniques.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • 7-10+ years of experience in high-volume manufacturing
  • Demonstrated experience & levels of responsibility in designing and troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment
  • Knowledge and application of engineering and technology skills with a focus on problem-solving, innovation and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal/external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks CADD software; AutoCAD experience is a plus
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally periodically. On rare occasions travel may extend a week in duration.
  • Willingness to commute daily to other ITW Construction Chicagoland locations and Northern Illinois machine builders/OEMS dependent on project assignments
  • Ability to work flexible hours, outside of normal workday, to accommodate meetings with global teams and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's)
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, and capital projects is a plus

The annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
