Our software enables that through visual content creation and collaboration in millions of classrooms worldwide. There are some products so good, you feel delight using them. Oligo SpaceHawthorne, California
Oligo is building a manufacturing-in-the-loop foundation model to automate spacecraft design and production worldwide. Our approach allows customers to focus entirely on their own technology and mission objectives, while we handle everything, from design and manufacturing to launch and operations. Leveraging cutting edge AI-driven generative design and automated manufacturing , our ex-MIT, Harvard, and NASA JPL team work to create the most advanced payload-specific spacecraft at scale in weeks over months. With two record breaking missions launching in 2026 , world‑class advisors on our board, and fresh funding from top investors like Lux Capital , we’re always on the lookout for exceptional builders, fast learners, and ambitious engineers. Whether your passion lies in spacecraft systems, avionics, ML/AI, or advanced manufacturing, you’ll be collaborating across disciplines on real missions that fly, perform in orbit, and scale internationally. We pair world-class AI/ML talent with top-tier satellite engineers under one roof to reimagine how space systems are built, starting from first principles. No bureaucracy. No legacy thinking. If you think you’re a fit, we are extremely excited to meet you. Role Overview Oligo builds vertically integrated infrastructure for automated spacecraft design and manufacturing. Our AI software stack, Zenith , turns raw mission requirements into flight-ready spacecraft using a pipeline of agentic AI systems , embedded simulation , and hardware-in-the-loop validation . We’re hiring a Software Engineer with a background in ML/AI to help advance core algorithms used for generative design, simulation-aware geometry creation, and multi-domain system optimization . You’ll work alongside spacecraft engineers and flight software developers to build AI that doesn't just simulate reality—but designs it. This is a hands-on, high-leverage role for early-career engineers interested in applying cutting-edge AI to real-world hardware. You’ll learn spacecraft engineering, astrodynamics, and manufacturability by building models that directly influence how our satellites fly. What You'll Do Develop and deploy vision-language models (VLMs) that parse technical documents, datasheets, and system specs into structured engineering constraints. Build and train reinforcement learning agents that explore multivariable design spaces—balancing structural, thermal, orbital, and manufacturability objectives. Design and run CNN-based topology optimizers (e.g., U-Net + FEniCSx) for reducing mass in structural components while maintaining stiffness and compliance. Construct multi-agent AI systems that simulate, evaluate, decompose, and iteratively redesign spacecraft configurations using embedded physics models. Contribute to our infrastructure for automated, high-context model training using flight data, past simulations, and test results—enabling real-time design intelligence. Work on automated system decomposition engines that convert high-level mission goals into detailed subsystem design specifications. Interface with physical simulation tools (Ansys, GMAT, Thermal Desktop) and CAD environments (OpenCascade, CadQuery) to ground designs in physical constraints. Collaborate daily with engineers building the real hardware—what you code will be tested in thermal chambers, vibration tables, and flown on orbit. What You'll Bring Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s/Masters degree (or final semester) in Computer Science, ML/AI, Engineering, or a related technical field (or willing to leave existing program) Experience in ML/AI through research, personal projects, or internships (not just coursework). 2+ years of experience building advanced ML systems (deep learning, RL, planning, or LLM agent frameworks). ClioVancouver, WA
Clio is more than just a tech company-we are a global leader that is transforming the legal experience for all by bettering the lives of legal professionals while increasing access to justice. Summary: As the VP of Product Design, you will lead the design team at Clio to solve our most pressing product challenge: creating a unified, "all-in-one" experience across our expanding portfolio of products. This is not a "clean hands" role; it requires a leader who is ready to dig into a complex and challenging product landscape. Your success will be measured by your ability to improve our multi-product experience and, in turn, our NPS. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team. We need a high-energy, deeply engaged leader who will immerse themselves in our products and our customers' worlds. We are looking for a pragmatic problem-solver who sees design as a critical tool to make our products work better for the people who use them every day. What you'll do: Design & Research Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the product design and research team. Your primary objective is to drive the creation of a cohesive, multi-product experience that delights our users. Incorporate AI tools like Figma Make to accelerate creativity and elevate design quality. Accountability & Execution: Hold the design team, including managers, accountable for delivering measurable improvements. This includes fostering a culture of high energy, active collaboration, and ownership, moving away from disengaged, "screen-off" postures. You will ensure designers are actively talking to customers. Encourage thoughtful use of AI-enabled tools (e.g., Sheets, Miro, Confluence, Workday) to enhance collaboration and execution. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Revolutionize the relationship between design and engineering. You will lead the charge in breaking down silos and ensuring design is a proactive, collaborative partner, not a team that waits for product management to throw specifications "over the fence." Partner with engineering to leverage AI-assisted tools like Cursor for faster, more integrated delivery. Strategic Vision: Develop and execute a design strategy that directly addresses the challenge of creating a unified experience across multiple products. You will be instrumental in leveraging design to solve real business problems. Team Development: Lead and mentor an existing team of 40+ designers and managers. You are not a "kingdom-builder" focused on new hires and processes. Your role is to assess the current team, ensure the right people are in the right roles, and empower them to deliver excellence. Hands-On Engagement: Dive deep into our products. We expect you to understand the intricacies of our offerings and speak with customers regularly to ensure we are solving their most pressing problems. Stay close to how AI can enhance user experiences and design outcomes. What you should have: Product Design Leadership: Experience in product design leadership at a high-tech or SaaS software company with a strong portfolio showcasing successful product launches and multi-product experience. Familiarity with modern AI design tools like Figma Make. Strategic & Tactical Execution: Ability to think and operate at a "strategic level," but drive execution on a "tactical level" with the willingness to roll up your sleeves. Multi-Product Unification: Proven success unifying disparate product experiences into a single, cohesive user journey, especially in an environment of rapid growth or post-acquisition integration. Design System Expertise: Experience developing and scaling a comprehensive design system across a multi-product SaaS portfolio to drive consistency, efficiency, and a unified brand identity. Understanding how AI can enhance system efficiency and drive evolution. Data-Driven Mindset: Highly analytical with the desire and ability to dig into metrics to derive insights through design dashboards. Cross-Functional Influence: Ability to influence, partner, and communicate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and GTM business teams across a company to set and deliver on the design vision. Pragmatic People Leadership: Proven ability to assess, mentor, and elevate an existing design organization. You energize teams, instill a culture of direct accountability from managers to individual contributors. Why you should be excited: World-Class Company: Clio is a rare success story. Few tech companies can match our metrics and rapid growth. A True Design Challenge: This is a pivotal moment for design at Clio. You will have the opportunity to solve a complex, multi-product design challenge and have a massive impact on our customers and the company's trajectory. The Forefront of AI: We are heavily investing in AI to solve our multi-product challenges. If you want to be a leader in the new world of AI-driven products, this is the place to be. You'll help shape how AI enhances creativity, collaboration, and product quality across our design and engineering teams.
