Lucid Motors is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Architecture & Interior Design Intern to join our EMEA Retail Development team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in retail design and project management within the automotive industry. As a Design Management Intern, you will support the design and development of our retail showrooms and service centers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring our brand vision to life. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of design concept packages, test fits, and feasibility studies for retail and service facilities. Support the review of architectural and engineering (A/E) construction documents for alignment with brand standards and project requirements. Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants on due diligence, permitting, and project coordination. Participate in the development of presentations and reports to communicate project updates to stakeholders. Conduct research on building codes, ADA compliance, and zoning/planning ordinances to support design and development decisions. Strong interest in retail development, automotive facilities, and design project management. Basic understanding of architectural design, construction systems, and documentation processes. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively. A portfolio showcasing academic or personal design projects is preferred. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with building codes, ADA requirements, and permitting processes is an advantage. Interest or experience in electric vehicle (EV) facility design and development. Basic knowledge of Revit/BIM is a plus. Language skills: Good English, written and spoken is essential. Proficiency in German or another European language is a plus. You'll take full ownership of the development, configuration control, and maintenance of the HIL/SIL software. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the software design, development, and implementation of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) systems for spacecraft testing and validation. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in retail design and project management within the automotive industry. As a Design Management Intern, you will support the design and development of our retail showrooms and service centers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring our brand vision to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of design concept packages, test fits, and feasibility studies for retail and service facilities.
  • Support the review of architectural and engineering (A/E) construction documents for alignment with brand standards and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants on due diligence, permitting, and project coordination.
  • Participate in the development of presentations and reports to communicate project updates to stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
