    • Knowledgeable in water resources engineering, specifically hydrology and hydraulics
    • (Preferred) Experience using Civil 3D
    • (Preferred) Some knowledge of fluid mechanics and survey basics
    • (Preferred) Experience with ArcGIS
    • (Preferred) Experience with Stormwater BMP basics and/or LID

Responsibilities

    • Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D software to create civil construction documents for publicly funded stormwater capture design projects. Project work will involve grading, hydraulics, hydrology, site layout, soil erosion and sediment control, and utility designs.
    • Support development of stormwater capture facility conceptual design content, including conceptual drawings and maps, geospatial analysis, hydraulic analysis, and technical writing.
    • Provide necessary design, coordination, and follow up on work to ensure quality standards are met and efficiency levels are maintained.
    • Demonstrate a commitment and organized approach to work and willingness to ask questions.
    • Commit to the various duties necessary to advance Craftwater’s qualifications and reputation in the industry.
    • Employ critical thinking and creative problem solving skills to formulate engineering solutions to challenging problems and achieve new technical and professional goals.
    • Describe and present project efforts and goals in a way that is easily understood by clients and the public at large.
    • Report to our shared workspace 4 times per week in Pasadena, CA. Our in-person time is used to facilitate project collaboration, meetings, professional development & culture.
