Publish and upload learning content to QC’s Learning Management System (LMS); update and maintain LMS content, learner transcripts, and report data. Conduct structured training needs assessments and provide detailed recommendations of such findings. Analyze various data, identify learning needs, and design and implement follow-up to address the continuous training and instructional needs of learners. In collaboration with Marketing & Business Development and other functional areas, conduct periodic needs assessments to identify learning gaps, unmet learning needs and potential new learner experience initiatives; analyze data to identify unmet needs, new audiences, and emerging topics. Developing and Facilitating onboarding, training, and retention programs Plan and coordinate training sessions including venues, materials and resources. The Instructional Design and Training Specialist collaborates with various business units to identify training needs and develop engaging learning and communications solutions.  This role utilizes tools such as Articulate 360, Kahoot, and the Luma Bright Learning LMS system to design and deliver training that supports organizational goals.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop interactive, engaging, and visually appealing learning content for instructor-led seminars, online webinars, self-paced eLearning, and blended learning, based on the learning and performance needs of the target audience.
  • Edit and enhance recorded video and audio content ensuring high quality prior to publication.
  • Publish and upload learning content to QC’s Learning Management System (LMS); update and maintain LMS content, learner transcripts, and report data.
  • Conduct structured training needs assessments and provide detailed recommendations of such findings.
  • Analyze various data, identify learning needs, and design and implement follow-up to address the continuous training and instructional needs of learners.
  • In collaboration with Marketing & Business Development and other functional areas, conduct periodic needs assessments to identify learning gaps, unmet learning needs and potential new learner experience initiatives; analyze data to identify unmet needs, new audiences, and emerging topics.

  • Corporate training development or adult learning experience
  • Instructional design experience
  • Proficient in video editing using Camtasia or Adobe Premiere
  • Proven work experience in Logistics or Transportation
  • Experience working with faculty and subject matter experts for content development
  • Excellent Customer Service.
  • Self-starter with great motivational skills, ability to “think-outside-the-box” to solve problems, and thrives in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong presentation skills; virtual (Google Meets) and in-person
  • Strict adherence to professional ethics and appropriate management of confidential information.
  • Excellent analytical, listening, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Tech and system savvy with strong MS Office and Google Suite
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, or walk around for work 6-8 hours per day.
  • Ability to read and interpret information accurately.

 

Business hours: Monday-Friday. This position is a hybrid position, 1 day remote and 4 days on site at the Tampa, FL office. During training weeks, it is required to be on site the entire duration of the course.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Preferred - BA, BS, MS, or higher degree in organizational development, education, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience with L&D and facilitation preferred

 

Travel: Up to 25%

 

Work Environment: 

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office and computer equipment.
