This Lead Engineer/Supervisor Engineer will be responsible to leader and collaborate with the customer and Westinghouse stakeholders to define and convey the engineering process requirements for implementing Engineering Changes and Item Equivalencies. The person selected for this position will participate in process development, change management, and oversight of a small team (3-5 people) to ensure that customer requirements are defined and satisfied. This role is expected to have a good baseline knowledge around Configuration Management processes and ability to support utility customers in implementing process changes.

  • Understanding and developing engineering change processes
  • Developing and implementing a Change Management Plan at a Commercial Nuclear Facility
  • Collaborating with Management, Engineers, Stakeholders, and Procedure Writers to gain process alignment
  • Experience with communicating with and escalating to management personnel to gain results
  • Ability to evaluate and prioritize process requirements to gain alignment towards a goal
  • Facilitate and coordinate procedure reviews and stakeholder meetings
  • Facilitate and coordinate training on the Standard Design Process (SDP), including on-site sessions
  • Effectively leading activities and teams of engineers
  • Setting day-to-day operational objectives for team

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

  • B.S. in Engineering or established equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of commercial nuclear industry experience with increasing levels of responsibility; 12 plus year preferred
  • Experience with developing engineering deliverables (Engineering Changes, Item Equivalencies, etc.)
  • Experience with the Industry Standard Design Process (IP-ENG-001) and Standard Item Equivalency Process (NISP-EN-02)
  • Experience with developing Engineering Processes and Procedures using formal commercial nuclear processes
  • Deep understanding of commercial nuclear processes
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems

Annually Paid: We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $116,800 to $146,000 per year.
