PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Providing support and guidance to other project design leads/Associate design leads as directed by manager. • Training associate design leads under managers plan to prepare them for the project design lead role. • Attend design reviews and provide comments/feedback on engineering deliverables. • Support EOR contract creation and review by facilitating review between the engineer of record and our internal team. • Support EPC contract and scope review by reviewing and suggestion changes to prime contracts and exhibits. • Support project assignments to the project design leads by helping forecast internal needs based on project pipeline. • Develop standards and processes to better streamline project design lead tasks and procedures. • Lead or track new process initiatives with project design leads and other internal team members. • Sometimes act as the main design lead for project(s). • Ensure project designs are developed with due consideration for installation means and methods and long-term operations and maintenance of the project by others. Consult Field Operations trade specialists as necessary for requirements and recommendations. • Develops and maintains a good working relationship with clients, Engineers of Record, subcontractors, vendors, and co-workers to strengthen company position.
