Position Summary The Design Support Specialist (DSS) is responsible for activities supporting the documentation of Banner product and manufacturing resources. Position Summary

The Design Support Specialist (DSS) is responsible for activities supporting the documentation of Banner product and manufacturing resources. This position is fast-paced and involves detailed work that requires focus and dedication to quality.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Work extensively with Oracle ERP system
  • Assign new part numbers and enter all relevant data into Oracle
  • Enter and maintain assembly Bills of Materials and Routing documents into Oracle
  • Write and/or Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) depending on experience and complexity
  • Support the DSS component of the New Product Introduction (NPI) designs and builds
  • Answer basic questions from engineers regarding various documentation processes
  • Check documents in/out of Web Center with a basic knowledge of metadata
  • Develop and maintain procedures and processes for maintaining and correcting engineering documents
  • Prioritize and schedule engineering builds
  • Interact with manufacturing plants, including domestic, Mexico, and China locations
  • Other duties as assigned
