This is an Avionics Circuit Design Engineer role where you will work on the development, integration, and production of a sophisticated state-of the-art electronics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment. Key activities you will accomplish in this role: Design and build the circuitry of the electronics product. Collaborate with PWB, GN&C, FPGA, and STE teams to construct and checkout this hardware. Design and prepare the checkout and test procedures to bring this hardware product to Acceptance and Qualification, ensuring the product meets customer requirements and ready for flight. To be effective in this role, you will need: Experience with design of digital or analog circuits and performing electronics analysis (Worst Cast Analysis or Electrical Parts Stress Analysis). Experience in schematic capture (i.e. Zuken) or electronics simulation software (i.e. PSPICE). 3+ years professional experience. The Data Center Interior Design Project Manager is primarily responsible for leading and managing consistent implementation of QTS Corporate Interior Standards across multiple projects. The Data Center Interior Design PM will interact on a daily basis with Furniture Dealers, Architects, Engineers, General Contractors, specialty vendors, QTS Development, and QTS Operations staff and should have both written and oral communication skills commensurate with this level of regular communication. Job Summary: The Principle Analog Design Engineer is responsible for designing, simulating and validating a variety of analog functions such as ADCs, references, charge pumps, oscillators, pads, etc. Ahead of detailed design, the Principle Analog Design Engineer will actively participate in the definition of the chip, systems, and blocks including interactions with digital or other devices, and cross functional teams. The role also includes innovation & technical leadership, leading sub-teams, mentoring of junior engineers, supervision of layout engineers, silicon measurements or their supervision, support to production test engineers, and definition of test methodology. Responsibilities: System design, from top-level specification analysis to system optimization. Analog block design, from specification definition to support to production. Design & optimization, verification, technical documentation, layout supervision. Silicon lab evaluation, characterization and debug. Block or system modelling. Lead engineer sub-teams, mentor more junior engineers. Technology roadmap development with cross functional teams. Technical support to test, product and application engineers. Interface with digital, firmware, verification, layout and cross functional team. Minimum Qualifications: 15+ years' experience in analog CMOS integrated circuit design M.S. in EE or higher Strong analytical and problem solving skills Solid understanding and experience in designing transistor-level CMOS analog and mixed-signal blocks and systems, including IC technology and layout, with blocks such as ADCs, DACs, sensor interfaces, switched-capacitor blocks, power management, LDO regulators, bandgap, biasing circuits, amplifiers, oscillators, PLLs, comparators, filters, physical IOs, etc. In-depth knowledge of analog mixed-signal concepts, techniques and trade-offs like speed, power, noise, mismatch, linearity, stability, area Demonstration of technical leadership and innovation Strong knowledge of IC design CAD tools including schematic entry, Spice and mixed-mode simulation tools Experience with oscilloscopes, supplies, meters and the associated measurement methods Independent, self-motivated, rigorous, innovating, team player and able to follow through Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of system-level aspects: signal processing, mixed-signal, digital, firmware, modelling, test and application Desired Qualifications Experience with high-resolution, low-power ADC architectures, design and techniques Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre/AFS, Siemens Symphony, Matlab, Verilog/VHDL etc. Experience analog/mixed-signal behavioral model development/verification Experience with consumer and/or ITA market circuit developments The intent of this job description is to describe the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job. What does this role look like?
This is an Avionics Circuit Design Engineer role where you will work on the development, integration, and production of a sophisticated state-of the-art electronics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
- Design and build the circuitry of the electronics product.
- Collaborate with PWB, GN&C, FPGA, and STE teams to construct and checkout this hardware.
- Design and prepare the checkout and test procedures to bring this hardware product to Acceptance and Qualification, ensuring the product meets customer requirements and ready for flight.
To be effective in this role, you will need:
- Experience with design of digital or analog circuits and performing electronics analysis (Worst Cast Analysis or Electrical Parts Stress Analysis).
- Experience in schematic capture (i.e. Zuken) or electronics simulation software (i.e. PSPICE).
- 3+ years professional experience.
- While no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Experience with design of digital or analog circuits.
- Experience performing electronics analysis (Worst Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Critical Analysis).
- While no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills:
- Experience on Space and/or Missile Defense Missions.
- Experience in electronic systems schematic creation and interpretation, and Electronics Modeling/Simulation Software such as SPICE.
- Experience in schematic capture using Zuken or similar software.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $97,100 - $171,235. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
