This position is responsible for ensuring the Division's HNTB 4 for 4 performance objectives (Consistent delivery of quality work, on time, on budget, and to the client's satisfaction on every project) are met through robust implementation of the Sophisticated Delivery Approach and Standard Operating Procedures. Areas of responsibility will include 1) implementation of Infrastructure Strategy within their offices, 2) mentoring/coaching/training, 3) moving new policy and procedures into the Line Organization, 4) mega project oversight, and 5) participating on the Infrastructure Delivery team. What You'll Do: Is the direct link between Infrastructure and the offices in executing the project delivery strategy within the offices and actively participate in the Infrastructure Business Unit strategy. Mentors Office Leaders and Office Delivery Managers through regular engagement on mega projects (e.g., contracting, work planning, Monthly Project Reviews (MPRs), kickoff meetings). Conducts in-office training and brown bag discussions on project management topics. Responsible for on-going mega project oversight within the Division including involvement in select monthly project reviews, audit project review meetings and compliance with project review Standard of Performance (SOP). Tracks and assesses mega projects through HNTB's Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA) to ensure compliance via Readiness Reviews (RRs), Quality Reviews, Technical Reviews, and Senior Management Reviews (SMRs). Works with Office Delivery Managers and Office Quality Managers to ensure compliance with the Quality SOP and assist with the development of quality work plans for all mega projects. Provides Division assistance on mega projects (not provided at firm-wide level) during SDA milestone events (work planning sessions, contracting and risk sessions, mega RRs and kick-off meetings, SMRs and Monthly Project Reviews (MPRs), Technical Reviews and Quality audits). Facilitates project recovery action plan development on problem projects and follow through to success. Works closely with the Division Operation Officer for negotiations and contracting strategies and oversight including coordination with the Corporate Delivery and Contracting Organization staff as appropriate. Participates in select mega client satisfaction audits with Division Presidents, Client Service Leaders and others at least once per quarter. Facilitates work planning sessions for all mega projects that are not supported at the Infrastructure level. Carries out other duties as assigned. What You Will Need to Succeed: Registered / Licensed Architect (RA) Master's degree in architecture from an accredited school 15+ years of professional experience as an Architect Design experience with Healthcare projects are strongly preferred. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience. This opportunity works closely with Office Leaders and Office Delivery Managers focused on all aspects of project delivery within the Southeast Division of HNTB, with particular focus on planning, design, and PM/CM mega projects as it relates to contracting, project planning and project execution. This position is responsible for ensuring the Division's HNTB 4 for 4 performance objectives (Consistent delivery of quality work, on time, on budget, and to the client's satisfaction on every project) are met through robust implementation of the Sophisticated Delivery Approach and Standard Operating Procedures. Areas of responsibility will include 1) implementation of Infrastructure Strategy within their offices, 2) mentoring/coaching/training, 3) moving new policy and procedures into the Line Organization, 4) mega project oversight, and 5) participating on the Infrastructure Delivery team.

What You'll Do:

  • Is the direct link between Infrastructure and the offices in executing the project delivery strategy within the offices and actively participate in the Infrastructure Business Unit strategy.
  • Mentors Office Leaders and Office Delivery Managers through regular engagement on mega projects (e.g., contracting, work planning, Monthly Project Reviews (MPRs), kickoff meetings).
  • Conducts in-office training and brown bag discussions on project management topics.
  • Responsible for on-going mega project oversight within the Division including involvement in select monthly project reviews, audit project review meetings and compliance with project review Standard of Performance (SOP).
  • Tracks and assesses mega projects through HNTB's Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA) to ensure compliance via Readiness Reviews (RRs), Quality Reviews, Technical Reviews, and Senior Management Reviews (SMRs).
  • Works with Office Delivery Managers and Office Quality Managers to ensure compliance with the Quality SOP and assist with the development of quality work plans for all mega projects.
  • Provides Division assistance on mega projects (not provided at firm-wide level) during SDA milestone events (work planning sessions, contracting and risk sessions, mega RRs and kick-off meetings, SMRs and Monthly Project Reviews (MPRs), Technical Reviews and Quality audits).
  • Facilitates project recovery action plan development on problem projects and follow through to success. Works closely with the Division Operation Officer for negotiations and contracting strategies and oversight including coordination with the Corporate Delivery and Contracting Organization staff as appropriate.
  • Participates in select mega client satisfaction audits with Division Presidents, Client Service Leaders and others at least once per quarter.
  • Facilitates work planning sessions for all mega projects that are not supported at the Infrastructure level.
  • Carries out other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or Planning
  • 15 years professional experience with project management experience

What We Prefer:

  • Experience with implementing the Sophisticated Delivery Approach and Standard Operating Procedures of HNTB
  • 20+ plus years of experience with HNTB's major client services areas - DOT, Toll, Rail/Transit, and Aviation
  • Experience delivering high profitability through contracting and negotiation best business practices
  • Experience facilitating work planning for strategy sessions for mega projects focused on HNTB's CORE Service Areas (Planning, Design, PM/CM)
