️ The Strategic Partnerships (Design Offices) job

We are looking for an experienced Strategic partnerships manager to join our team in France, specifically focused on the Bureau d'Études / Design Offices segment (engineering consulting, technical services).

The core purpose of this role is to open doors to Sales by strengthening Alan's reputation and awareness amongst HRDs and decision-makers in design offices, and generating business opportunities through targeted field initiatives.

You will be the first Strategic partnerships role dedicated to this segment, shaping our strategy and representing Alan on a daily basis in key engineering and technical services business networks.

Here is how your key outcomes will look like:

  • Execute high-impact field events: Organize and run strategic events targeting HR professionals, ensuring measurable business outcomes.

  • Become an expert of the design offices market: Deep dive into the bureau d'études sector to build actionable insights, understand specific challenges, and upskill the sales team on market specificities.

  • Develop verticalized sales materials: Work with Business team and Product Marketing teams to create adapted pitch decks and sales assets that address challenges beyond insurance (feminization of engineering, retention through benefits, CSR/RSE positioning).

  • Build strategic relationships with industry federations: Identify and engage with influential institutions (Fédération CINOV, CINOV Ingénierie, Syntec Ingénierie) and map sub-specialties to identify influential players in each area.

  • Generate qualified business opportunities: Create qualified lead pipeline through field marketing initiatives, networking events, and partnership activities with key federations and their regional networks.

  • Raise Alan's awareness in the segment: Organize or sponsor targeted events reaching design office decision-makers, develop content positioning Alan as expert on sector challenges, and build brand presence in professional networks.

  • Establish Alan as a thought leader: Position Alan within the engineering community through strategic collaborations, speaking engagements at industry events, and partnerships that open doors to complex stakeholder environments.

Is it you we're looking for?

We're looking for someone who combines marketing expertise with strategic networking abilities, has a genuine interest in engineering and technical services industries, and can autonomously drive brand awareness and lead generation in complex B2B environments.

The ideal candidate will bring strong fundamentals in field marketing or partnerships and proven experience building relationships with professional federations. They should be excited about pioneering Alan's presence in the bureau d'études sector and navigating traditional, price-sensitive buyer environments.

You may be a great fit at Alan if you have/are:

  • 5+ years experience in field marketing, event marketing, or sales development in B2B complex environments

  • Full working proficiency in French

  • Advanced level in English (spoken and written)

  • Proven experience creating and executing targeted marketing campaigns for professional audiences

  • Strong ability to plan, execute, and measure event impact and ROI

  • Excellent networking and pitching skills with C-level executives and professional federation leaders

  • Comfortable with technical audiences and traditional, structured decision-making processes

  • Strong communication and content creation skills addressing professional/technical audiences

  • Entrepreneurial mindset: self-starter who thrives building from scratch in uncharted territory

  • Strong ownership and accountability in delivering measurable results

  • Collaborative and able to influence cross-functional teams (Sales, PMM, Business ops)

For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the C1-E level range.

If you're still wondering whether this could be the best move for you, take a look at this article from Lucie Leflour, our Sales Lead in France.
