Plan and upgrade code-base of design software to latest .Net core framwork. Building Azure based application (.Net core). Create/Update the architecture of Hitachi Energy products focusing on electrical design tools. Drive innovation, creating POC on new technologies and new architectures. Creating/maintaining CI/CD pipeline. Implement new features, bug fixing, and code refactoring as required. Work in an Agile multinational team. Documentation of new development efforts. Escalate issues to the appropriate project or team manager as needed. Debug and fix bugs to improve design quality. Requirement and qualification: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering / computer science or similar with 2-5 years of programming related experience will be plus. Understanding transformers or physics & magnetics is a plus. Understanding thermal calculations or sizing calculations is a plus. Hands-on programming experience with .Net framework 4.8 (VB.Net or C#). Hands-on programming experience with C# .Net Core preferred. Knowledge using version control system git. Experience with SQL server (MS SQL). Experience with CI/CD pipeline in Azure environment. Familiar with modern project management tools and processes (Azure DevOps, Agile, etc.). Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Hitachi Energy Transformers Business Unit is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Power2 Engineering Development Program at Hub North America Engineering function.   • Creating/maintaining CI/CD pipeline.

Requirement and qualification:

  • Understanding thermal calculations or sizing calculations is a plus.
  • Hands-on programming experience with .Net framework 4.8 (VB.Net or C#).
  • Hands-on programming experience with C# .Net Core preferred.
  • Knowledge using version control system git.
  • Experience with SQL server (MS SQL).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline in Azure environment.
  • Familiar with modern project management tools and processes (Azure DevOps, Agile, etc.).
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Working knowledge in Azure Development (Batch, Docker, Queues, Functions, Storage, MSSQL)
