What we're looking for in YOU: Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Illustrator and Photoshop) Working knowledge of design principles and file setup for print and web applications Ability to work independently and efficiently Attention to detail Familiarity with Google Suite (GMail, Calendar, Slides, Docs) is a plus Education and experience Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design- Junior level preferred High School Education or equivalent is required Portfolio Upload or Website Link is required for consideration. A day in the life: Work in a friendly, open environment with a range of creative professionals (print & web design, advertising, public relations, event planning) in the Marketing Department at Lamar's corporate office. The physical demands for this position include light lifting, reaching, seeing (with a focus on reading, color distinction, and acuity), sitting more than 50% of the time, standing, talking, turning, and walking. A Successful FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer Will:

  • Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output that can be printed and mounted to a substrate or weeded, cut, and applied
  • Complete or modify designs from customer drawings, files, or the exact output of customer-provided design for output to media
  • Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements.
  • Use a wide-format printer to print and a vinyl plotter to plot cut vinyl files
  • Help the production staff and front sales whenever needed.

Ideal Qualifications for FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer:

  • 3-4 years of graphic design experience as a job
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
  • Ability to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomously
  • Determine the best output method based on the customer's needs
  • Ability to work under pressure to output high-volume, high-quality work
