We are seeking a Senior UX Design & Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our growing team! As part of our Application Development team, you’ll help craft intuitive, elegant user experiences while bringing them to life through robust, scalable code. This role is ideal for someone who sees design and development not as separate disciplines, but as complementary forces. You’re not just a designer who dabbles in code—or a developer who occasionally sketches UI. You’re fluent in both worlds and passionate about creating experiences that make complicated processes easy. What You’ll Do In this cross-functional role, you’ll help create user experiences from ideation to implementation. You’ll be designing interfaces for users who's focus is not technology—so empathy, creativity, and deep listening are essential. You’ll anticipate user needs, simplify complexity, and build solutions that feel effortless to use. Key Responsibilities Create & improve user experiences, applying creativity and simplicity to new products and features. Build scalable, maintainable full-stack applications, contributing to both front-end and back-end development as needed. Collaborate cross-functionally to understand workflows, pain points, and area of improvement. Design thoughtful, user-centric interfaces, many targeted at users with limited technical proficiency. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that balance aesthetics and usability. Translate designs into production-ready code—bridging the gap between vision and execution. Validate designs via usability testing & research, iterating based on feedback and behavioral insights. What You’ll Bring 6 or more years of proven experience designing and building user interfaces with technology like Figma, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Strong portfolio of UX/UI work, for audiences with both high and low technical literacy. Empathy to think deeply about user behavior, anticipate needs, and design intuitive workflows for others. Comfort working in start-up environments where creativity, speed and structure are all required. Demonstrated ability to connect with users from diverse backgrounds. Strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset—you’re always learning and refining your craft. Experience working in agile teams and participating in design reviews, code reviews, and collaborative planning. Personal Characteristics Empathetic and curious, with a genuine interest in how people interact with technology. Creative and pragmatic, balancing innovation with feasibility. A systems thinker, who sees the big picture but sweats the details. A collaborative spirit, who thrives in cross-disciplinary teams and values diverse perspectives. Mission-driven, with a desire to build tools that make a meaningful impact. The expected salary range for this position is $160,000 - 180,000 , based on experience and alignment with role expectations. EtchedSan Jose, California
About Etched Etched is building AI chips that are hard-coded for individual model architectures. Our first product (Sohu) only supports transformers, but has an order of magnitude more throughput and lower latency than a B200. With Etched ASICs, you can build products that would be impossible with GPUs, like real-time video generation models and extremely deep chain-of-thought reasoning. Physical Design Engineer Etched is looking for exceptional PD engineers to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for working with 3rd party design services to implement and verify physical designs, and will help Etched as we work to improve iteration speed on physical design. Representative projects: Supervise the outsourcing of physical design to a 3rd party service Deeply understand what is involved in physical design Running Physical Design flows to close blocks, support ASIC infrastructure, automate Physical Design flows, improve CAD infrastructure Drive dashboards that show the convergence of projects related to Physical Design Optimize tool flows, working with EDA vendors to incorporate the latest features Accountable for block level closure Requirements: 2+ years of previous experience with PD Tools, flow, and design methodology from RTL synthesis to GDSII sign-off Experience with back-end design and timing closure on 3nm-7nm Experience with UPF-based low power design methodology, power verification, synthesis, scan insertion/ATPG, formal verification, floorplanning, placement, CTS, routing, IR drop, and EM/antenna analysis Deeply creative and able to think from first principles Desired qualifications: Familiarity with transformer models and machine learning. Familiarity with Cadence or Synopsys automated RTL-to-GDSII flows Ability to program with Python or another scripting language. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. How we’re different: Etched believes in the Bitter Lesson . We think most of the progress in the AI field has come from using more FLOPs to train and run models, and the best way to get more FLOPs is to build model-specific hardware. Larger and larger training runs encourage companies to consolidate around fewer model architectures, which creates a market for single-model ASICs. We are a fully in-person team in West San Jose, and greatly value engineering skills. We do not have boundaries between engineering and research, and we expect all of our technical staff to contribute to both as needed. Benefits: Full medical, dental, and vision packages, with generous premium coverage Housing subsidy of $2,000/month for those living within walking distance of the office Daily lunch and dinner in our office Relocation support for those moving to West San Jose Compensation Range $150,000 - $275,000

Job Description

At Diverge Health we are passionate about improving health access and outcomes for those most in need. We partner with primary care providers to improve the engagement and management of their Medicaid patients, offering independent practices with specialized resources and clinical programs to close gaps in care. Our teams work to address medical, social and behavioral patient needs, lowering healthcare costs and improving patient lives. Guided by our core values of humility, continuous learning and feeling the weight, our team is on a mission to strengthen communities from within, unlocking people's ability to live their healthiest lives.

What You’ll Do

In this cross-functional role, you’ll help create user experiences from ideation to implementation. You’ll be designing interfaces for users who's focus is not technology—so empathy, creativity, and deep listening are essential. You’ll anticipate user needs, simplify complexity, and build solutions that feel effortless to use.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create & improve user experiences, applying creativity and simplicity to new products and features.
  • Build scalable, maintainable full-stack applications, contributing to both front-end and back-end development as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand workflows, pain points, and area of improvement.
  • Design thoughtful, user-centric interfaces, many targeted at users with limited technical proficiency.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that balance aesthetics and usability.
  • Translate designs into production-ready code—bridging the gap between vision and execution.
  • Validate designs via usability testing & research, iterating based on feedback and behavioral insights.

What You’ll Bring

  • 6 or more years of proven experience designing and building user interfaces with technology like Figma, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Strong portfolio of UX/UI work, for audiences with both high and low technical literacy.
  • Empathy to think deeply about user behavior, anticipate needs, and design intuitive workflows for others.
  • Comfort working in start-up environments where creativity, speed and structure are all required.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect with users from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset—you’re always learning and refining your craft.
  • Experience working in agile teams and participating in design reviews, code reviews, and collaborative planning.

Personal Characteristics

  • Empathetic and curious, with a genuine interest in how people interact with technology.
  • Creative and pragmatic, balancing innovation with feasibility.
  • A systems thinker, who sees the big picture but sweats the details.
  • A collaborative spirit, who thrives in cross-disciplinary teams and values diverse perspectives.
  • Mission-driven, with a desire to build tools that make a meaningful impact.

The expected salary range for this position is $160,000 - 180,000, based on experience and alignment with role expectations. In addition to base compensation, we offer a competitive equity package, comprehensive health benefits, and flexible work arrangements.

At this time, we are unable to support hiring in Alaska and Hawaii due to our primary operations being based in the Eastern and Central time zones.

Our Investors

Diverge Health is funded by GV and incubated by Triple Aim Partners, which since 2019 has partnered with entrepreneurs to co-found and launch eight companies focused on improving the quality, experience and total cost of healthcare.

At Diverge Health we believe that a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences enrich our teams and enable us to realize our mission. If you do not have experience in all areas detailed above, we encourage you to share your unique background with us and how it might be additive to our team.
