You’ll receive 4-weeks of paid, world class training and be provided with state of the art tools, including a laptop, smartphone, product samples, and other resources necessary for your success - at no cost to you! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our design services business, collaborating closely with clients to understand their requirements and developing comprehensive wire harness design packages ready for manufacturing.   This is an on-site / hybrid opportunity based at the Re:Build AppliedLogix development center in Rochester, NY.    Export Control Requirement : Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. What you get to do!     Collaborate with clients to gather and understand design requirements for wire harnesses.    Review and finalize any missing design inputs, ensuring all specifications are accurately captured.    Utilize industry-leading Cadonix Arcadia software tools to create detailed wire harness designs and documentation.    Ensure that every design complies with the relevant industry standards and client specifications.    Work closely with manufacturing teams to provide necessary support during the production phase.    Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback to optimize designs for functional performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.    Maintain thorough documentation throughout the design process.   Work in a team environment to develop and refine internal processes to improve design quality.      What you will bring to the team   BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.    Minimum of 5 years of experience in wire harness design.   Familiarity with 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, SolidWorks Electrical).    Strong understanding of electrical first-principles, wire routing, and wire harness assembly techniques.    Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., UL, IPC, SAE) related to the Aerospace & Defense industries.   Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.    Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality designs on schedule.     A Rewarding Career Awaits You   We are a company that makes a difference in the industries and the communities where we operate. We are offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for new Design Consultants who are part of the Goodyear market. Terms are as follows: $1500 will be paid out after 30 days and an additional $1,500 will be paid after 60 days of service and good-standing and active employment with 3 Day Blinds.

Who you are

    • Retail environment – ideally in like field such as Home Décor/Furnishings
