Key Responsibilities Production & Project Management Oversee end-to-end production for all product labels, printed boxes, packaging inserts, merchandising displays, and printed collateral. Develop project scopes, detailed specifications, and secure competitive quotes from print and packaging vendors. Design Coordination & Proofing Collaborate with internal creative and product development teams to ensure packaging and label designs meet brand standards and requirements. Review and refine design files, dielines, technical drawings, label structures, and packaging layouts prior to production release. Oversee the full proofing process, including preflight checks, color proofs, printed mockups, and final approvals. Ensure all artwork adheres to technical requirements (color profiles, resolution, bleeds, fonts, trapping). Maintain consistency across product families and ensure adherence to packaging guidelines. New Product Naming & Cross-Functional Coordination Partner with Product Development, Marketing, and Creative teams to coordinate new product naming, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and customer experience. Facilitate internal review sessions, collect cross-functional input, and maintain version histories for all naming candidates. Work with Legal to review naming options for trademark availability and regulatory compliance. Compliance, Legal, and Trademark Coordination Collaborate closely with the Legal department to ensure all product labels, packaging, and collateral meet compliance and regulatory standards. Support trademark review processes, ensuring proposed product names and packaging elements are evaluated for trademark usage. Ensure packaging meets FTC, FDA, and other applicable regulatory guidelines. Maintain up-to-date documentation of compliance reviews, approvals, and trademark submissions. Quality Control & Standards Management Conduct thorough inspections of prototypes, pre-production samples, and final printed materials to ensure accuracy and quality. Identify issues early and work with vendors to resolve discrepancies promptly. Maintain SKU-specific documentation, including version control, technical specs, regulatory updates, and approved artwork archives. Vendor & Cost Management Build strong relationships with print vendors, packaging manufacturers, and suppliers. Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities, and production terms to ensure cost efficiency while maintaining quality. Identify cost-saving opportunities through materials, formats, or process improvements. Required Skills & Experience 7+ years of experience in print production, packaging development, label design management, or related consumer products roles. Expert understanding of print methods (offset, digital, flexo, screen), finishing, coatings, substrates, and packaging engineering. Strong knowledge of dielines, carton construction, label materials, adhesives, shrink applications, and structural packaging. High proficiency in reviewing artwork in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and related platforms. Deep understanding of prepress workflows, proofing processes, and color management. Experience coordinating naming, trademark review, or compliance processes with Legal teams. Exceptional project management and communication skills. Highly organized, accurate, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Experience in health, beauty, or regulated consumer product categories. Familiarity with sustainability trends, eco-friendly materials, and packaging optimization. Knowledge of barcoding, UPC generation, batch coding, and printing tolerances. Experience with supply chain or inventory coordination for packaging components. Serves as the primary client liaison and manages the project team to deliver the scope, schedule, and budgets to completion and to the client's satisfaction. Assists with client project scoping and contract negotiations. Performs technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production for assigned projects. What You'll Need: Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience 2 years task management or Deputy PM experience What You'll Bring: Managing and leading MOT design teams in the delivery of complex design build infrastructure projects with construction values of $100M to $2.5B. Coordinates with design-build contractor, discipline task leads and others to develop innovative, cost effective, and alternative construction phasing strategies to align with client budget and traffic mobility goals. Working closely with project managers, other discipline leads and contracting partners to provide engineering to develop cost estimates, alternate MOT strategies, and identify risks for projects and job pursuits. Project management activities, such as staff management, proposal development, budget, scope, fees, workplans and quality control for assigned projects. Acting as a subject matter expert and providing senior review of designs, proposals, fee estimates, scopes of work for projects nationwide. Supervising, coaching, and mentoring of junior engineering staff. This role involves strategic involvement throughout a projects design "life-cycle" including the pre-award (bid phase), post-award, or post-design (construction) phase. The position requires travel to project offices. Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Production & Project Management

  • Oversee end-to-end production for all product labels, printed boxes, packaging inserts, merchandising displays, and printed collateral.
  • Develop project scopes, detailed specifications, and secure competitive quotes from print and packaging vendors.
  • Manage production schedules, timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Evaluate vendor capabilities, materials, and pricing to recommend the best partners for each project.
  • Maintain a centralized production calendar and ensure timely delivery of all assets.

Design Coordination & Proofing

  • Collaborate with internal creative and product development teams to ensure packaging and label designs meet brand standards and requirements.
  • Review and refine design files, dielines, technical drawings, label structures, and packaging layouts prior to production release.
  • Oversee the full proofing process, including preflight checks, color proofs, printed mockups, and final approvals.
  • Ensure all artwork adheres to technical requirements (color profiles, resolution, bleeds, fonts, trapping).
  • Maintain consistency across product families and ensure adherence to packaging guidelines.

New Product Naming & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with Product Development, Marketing, and Creative teams to coordinate new product naming, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and customer experience.
  • Facilitate internal review sessions, collect cross-functional input, and maintain version histories for all naming candidates.
  • Work with Legal to review naming options for trademark availability and regulatory compliance.

Compliance, Legal, and Trademark Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with the Legal department to ensure all product labels, packaging, and collateral meet compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Support trademark review processes, ensuring proposed product names and packaging elements are evaluated for trademark usage.
  • Ensure packaging meets FTC, FDA, and other applicable regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of compliance reviews, approvals, and trademark submissions.

Quality Control & Standards Management

  • Conduct thorough inspections of prototypes, pre-production samples, and final printed materials to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Identify issues early and work with vendors to resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain SKU-specific documentation, including version control, technical specs, regulatory updates, and approved artwork archives.

Vendor & Cost Management

  • Build strong relationships with print vendors, packaging manufacturers, and suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities, and production terms to ensure cost efficiency while maintaining quality.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through materials, formats, or process improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in print production, packaging development, label design management, or related consumer products roles.
  • Expert understanding of print methods (offset, digital, flexo, screen), finishing, coatings, substrates, and packaging engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of dielines, carton construction, label materials, adhesives, shrink applications, and structural packaging.
  • High proficiency in reviewing artwork in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and related platforms.
  • Deep understanding of prepress workflows, proofing processes, and color management.
  • Experience coordinating naming, trademark review, or compliance processes with Legal teams.
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, accurate, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in health, beauty, or regulated consumer product categories.
  • Familiarity with sustainability trends, eco-friendly materials, and packaging optimization.
  • Knowledge of barcoding, UPC generation, batch coding, and printing tolerances.
  • Experience with supply chain or inventory coordination for packaging components.
