Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Design Engineer position include: U.S. Citizenship required; must be ITAR compliant Proven, hands-on mechanical design experience with strong CAD and GD&T skills (Onshape preferred) Design high-performance mechanisms (linkages, gears, motors, actuators) for defense-grade reliability Own the full design process: create CAD, drawings, tolerances, and validate performance in the field Build fast—prototyping, sourcing components, and testing under real-world conditions Work directly with manufacturing to scale designs for production with precision and repeatability Comfortable working long hours, wearing many hats, and adapting to shifting priorities in a startup environment Preferred: Experience with weapons systems, UAVs, aerospace, or high-performance mechanical systems Salary: $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
