Pinnacle Private Credit is seeking an ambitious Accounting & Finance Manager who is ready to step into a high-ownership role and grow alongside the firm. This individual will report directly to the CEO and CFO and will play a critical role in managing daily financial operations while supporting strategic initiatives.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone coming out of a Staff Accountant or Junior Finance role who is ready to take meaningful ownership and operate one level below the CFO.

The Opportunity

This role sits at the center of the company's financial infrastructure. You will oversee core accounting functions, manage cash flow and wire activity, support payroll, and partner with leadership on new initiatives, including external partnerships, investor relationships, and internal expansion projects.

As the company grows, this role has the potential to evolve into a Controller-level position.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Accounting & Financial Operations

• Oversee and execute all incoming and outgoing wire transactions
• Manage daily cash flow monitoring and treasury functions
• Handle payroll processing and related compliance
• Maintain general ledger and oversee month-end and year-end close
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare financial statements and internal reporting packages
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
• Ensure accurate documentation for audits and regulatory compliance

Strategic & Growth Initiatives

• Partner directly with CEO and CFO on new internal and external projects
• Support financial modeling and analysis for partnerships and investor relationships
• Assist in evaluating new business initiatives and expansion efforts
• Help build scalable financial processes and internal controls
• Serve as an operational bridge between finance and other departments

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required
• 2–3+ years of accounting or finance experience (financial services, lending, or private credit experience strongly preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong understanding of GAAP, treasury management, and financial controls
• Experience managing wire transactions and high-volume cash activity
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (QuickBooks or similar)
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Comfortable working directly with executive leadership
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
