About the opportunity

Your tasks include

• Lead the maintenance and continuous improvement of the site's ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, including coordination and hosting of external audits.
• Drive environmental, health, and safety compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to corporate requirements and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct and manage risk assessments, inspections, incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Oversee environmental performance tracking, reporting, and key EHS metrics, providing regular updates to site leadership.
• Manage the EHS internal audit program and support ongoing readiness for regulatory and certification audits.
• Deliver EHS training, presentations, and awareness programs that promote a proactive safety culture across the site.
• Maintain SDS management systems and support emergency response program preparedness and continuous improvement activities.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, or a related discipline; equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety roles, including at least 3 years supporting ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation or maintenance.
• Proven experience conducting audits, including Lead Auditor experience, with strong knowledge of EHS management systems and regulatory requirements.
• Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including experience with incident investigations, root cause analysis, risk mitigation, and ergonomics assessments.
• Experience maintaining emergency response programs; laboratory environment experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent project management, organizational, communication, and technical writing skills, with the ability to develop SOPs and related documentation.
• CSP, CIH, or similar professional certification is desirable but not required. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is expected.
