The Senior Engineer, Software (Salesforce) is a member of MissionSquare’s Technology team creating MissionSquare’s next generation technology applications. As part of an agile delivery team, the Senior Engineer works with solution architects, Salesforce business owners and technical team members to configure and develop Salesforce solutions including Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC). Essential Functions for this role include: Design, configure, develop, test, document, and deploy Salesforce solutions including Financial Services Cloud applications Check-in configurations to the team's source code repository and deploy configurations using DevOps tooling such as Copado and Salesforce DX Collaborate with solution architects, product managers, product owners, business owners and their proxies to define user stories and detailed acceptance criteria Develop accurate estimates of story size using story points to enable Sprint planning Actively participate in team ceremonies including story and feature demos, program increment (PI) and iteration planning, daily standups and retrospectives Communicate with team members regarding status, impediments and technical issues Work with other developers to design integrations between systems across the enterprise Follow and contribute to technical processes, coding standards, and guidelines Continually evaluate and refractor code base for increased extensibility Document solutions delivered using in-tool and written documentation according to team standards Provide production support of existing Salesforce implementations Research new technologies and solutions to improve Salesforce solutions When serving as the team's Scrum Master, ensure team Scrum ceremonies are scheduled and that team impediments are identified, documented and removed Continue to grow as a developer, staying well-informed about best practices and new functionality on the Salesforce platform Actively participate in and contributes to team meetings and supports teammates. Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, external services, and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Salesforce Data Cloud). Experience configuring AgentForce agents using natural language to define agent scope, permissions, and workflows. Ability to build and expose Apex logic for use by AI agents. Strong grasp of object relationships, schema design, and large data volume strategies. Familiarity with tools like Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, or Salesforce DX. Experience writing robust unit tests and using tools like Debug Logs, Developer Console, and VS Code. The Senior Engineer, Software (Salesforce) is a member of MissionSquare’s Technology team creating MissionSquare’s next generation technology applications. As part of an agile delivery team, the Senior Engineer works with solution architects, Salesforce business owners and technical team members to configure and develop Salesforce solutions including Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC).

Essential Functions for this role include:

  • Design, configure, develop, test, document, and deploy Salesforce solutions including Financial Services Cloud applications

  • Check-in configurations to the team's source code repository and deploy configurations using DevOps tooling such as Copado and Salesforce DX

  • Collaborate with solution architects, product managers, product owners, business owners and their proxies to define user stories and detailed acceptance criteria

  • Develop accurate estimates of story size using story points to enable Sprint planning

  • Actively participate in team ceremonies including story and feature demos, program increment (PI) and iteration planning, daily standups and retrospectives

  • Communicate with team members regarding status, impediments and technical issues

  • Work with other developers to design integrations between systems across the enterprise

  • Follow and contribute to technical processes, coding standards, and guidelines 

  • Continually evaluate and refractor code base for increased extensibility

  • Document solutions delivered using in-tool and written documentation according to team standards

  • Provide production support of existing Salesforce implementations

  • Research new technologies and solutions to improve Salesforce solutions

  • When serving as the team's Scrum Master, ensure team Scrum ceremonies are scheduled and that team impediments are identified, documented and removed

  • Continue to grow as a developer, staying well-informed about best practices and new functionality on the Salesforce platform
