About the Role: As a Staff Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and test of embedded software solutions for advanced medical devices. About the Role:

As a Staff Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and test of embedded software solutions for advanced medical devices. You will work within a collaborative team, leveraging your expertise in hardware and software integration to deliver high-quality, reliable software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop embedded software across the full software development lifecycle
  • Generate software requirements, architecture & design documentation, source code, and unit tests
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in an embedded systems environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, system engineers, and QA to define and deliver complete solutions
  • Adhere to medical device software development processes and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in embedded software development.
  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Programming Languages: Proficient in C, C++, and Python.
  • Hardware Experience: Demonstrated experience with a variety of embedded hardware platforms
  • Tools: Experience with version control systems (Git) and issue tracking systems (Jira).
  • Regulated Industry:  2+ years of experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical, aviation, automotive, etc.)
  • Architect and develop embedded software and/or firmware for systems built on Xilinx Zynq platforms, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.

Location: Hybrid (3days), on-site (full-time onsite when hardware access is needed)

Salary Range: $154K-$174K

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
