Help design, build, and maintain world-class, high traffic web-based and desktop/server applications using .NET, Microsoft Azure Cloud, cutting-edge Machine Learning models, and much more–primarily targeted at the photography, image processing, and photo finishing industry. 

Location

This is a flexible position.  We maintain an office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and prefer candidates located within two hours of the Baton Rouge area for occasional in-person meetups, but day-to-day work can be done either in the office or remotely.

  • Develop desktop, mobile, and web applications using primarily C# / .NET, VueJS, and Avalonia based on project specifications provided by the team. 
  • Leverage Azure Cloud Storage, Queues, and Serverless Functions to develop image processing pipelines. 
  • Discover, test, and potentially train machine learning algorithms to assist in image processing and classification.
  • Assist team members in supporting existing web applications using C# / .NET
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Test and debug applications to ensure they are performing as expected
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Take responsibility for your work and for successful outcomes
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the field and suggest improvements to the team

Technical Requirements (Must Have)

  • Good attitude, curiosity about how things work, and an eagerness to learn new things
  • Degree from a four year college or equivalent experience (coding bootcamp)
  • 1 to 3 years experience as a .NET C# Developer (or proficient in another ecosystem and eager to learn).
  • 1+ years experience building Web Solutions with technologies like ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or equivalent
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
