Job Duties:

  • Diagnose and repair failures with computer / server hardware and electronic circuit board assemblies
  • Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues and capability to get the IP address from the network card, ifconfig, ipconfig, etc.
  • Experience troubleshooting computer hardware components such as: RAM, CPU, Network Cards (NIC), Motherboard, PSU, etc.
  • Exhibit proficiency in the use of test and measurement equipment.
  • Work as a team member to achieve Diagnostic departments process yield goals.
  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
  • Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Skills:

  • Relevant certifications and/or an IT related degree (Associates or Bachelors) is a huge plus
  • Thorough knowledge of computer hardware components (building / troubleshooting / etc)
  • Strong troubleshooting/debugging skills
  • Very good communication abilities
  • Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
  • Work experience as a computer technician and/or computer building hobbyist

  • Strong mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Linux commands and BMC/IPMI.
  • Experience with computer hardware and repair.
  • Proven debug efficiency.
