JOB DESCRIPTION Job Duties: Fox Cable Network Services, LLC seeks a Software Developer (Associate Software Engineer), responsible for developing production-ready software based on product specifications. This position involves a mixture of individual and collaborative work and requires both technical and creative solutions. It is a full-stack position that consists of front-end, back-end and database development. Specific duties include: 1) Develop custom software solutions for mass-scale usability. 2) Extend and create backend systems to ingest, marry, and surface date. 3) Add or modify user-facing web features, components, pages and systems. 4) Perform iterative testing and improvement cycles for optimal code and performance. 5) Develop software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation. 6) Maintain and improve existing products incorporating analysis and feedback. 7) Participate in product brainstorming sessions. 8) Stay current on software development practices and the technology industry. 9) Stay current on sport and entertainment products, topics, and trends. 10) Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Duties:

Fox Cable Network Services, LLC seeks a Software Developer (Associate Software Engineer), responsible for developing production-ready software based on product specifications. This position involves a mixture of individual and collaborative work and requires both technical and creative solutions. It is a full-stack position that consists of front-end, back-end and database development. Specific duties include: 1) Develop custom software solutions for mass-scale usability. 2) Extend and create backend systems to ingest, marry, and surface date. 3) Add or modify user-facing web features, components, pages and systems. 4) Perform iterative testing and improvement cycles for optimal code and performance. 5) Develop software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation. 6) Maintain and improve existing products incorporating analysis and feedback. 7) Participate in product brainstorming sessions. 8) Stay current on software development practices and the technology industry. 9) Stay current on sport and entertainment products, topics, and trends. 10) Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Telecommuting is permitted up to 50%/week within normal commuting distance of Fox office in Blue Ash, OH.

Job Requirements:

Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, plus six (6) months of software engineering or related work experience involving areas in Computer Science. (Will accept paid or unpaid experience.)

  • Specific skills: Also requires experience or knowledge in the following: 1) Knowledge of REST/JSON and API development; 2) Experience in web application development and unit test case development; 3) Knowledge of machine learning tools and processes; 4) Experience with front end technologies; 5) Experience with source control and managed releases; 6) Experience designing relational databases schemas; and 7) Knowledge of Python, C#, .Net, HTML, CSS, Git and JavaScript
  • Any level of knowledge, experience and/or coursework in the specific skills is acceptable.

Telecommuting is permitted up to 50%/week within normal commuting distance of Fox office in Blue Ash, OH.
