Position Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to support full life cycle platform architecture, system automation, and deployment pipelines in a dynamic and agile development environment. This role requires deep experience in system administration, DevOps tooling, cloud infrastructure, and automation with a strong ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex software systems. Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to support full life cycle platform architecture, system automation, and deployment pipelines in a dynamic and agile development environment. This role requires deep experience in system administration, DevOps tooling, cloud infrastructure, and automation with a strong ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex software systems.

Required Skills:

  • Fluent with Git version control systems
  • Expert knowledge of Linux (RHEL 6/7/8, RHCS/RHCE, CentOS)
  • Strong experience with Windows system administration, monitoring, and performance tuning
  • 10+ years working in Agile software development environments (excluding academic experience)
  • Expertise with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Bamboo
  • Proficient with containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher
  • Familiarity with caching technologies: Memcache, ActiveMQ, Redis, APC
  • Database experience with MySQL (clustering, replication, tuning), and Elasticsearch
  • Solid understanding of security practices, networking protocols, firewalls, and compliance
  • Deep experience in system architecture and ability to read/debug code
  • 10+ years managing AWS and virtualized environments
  • Proficient in at least one OOP language: Ruby, C, C++, Go, Python, or Java
  • Experience analyzing large, complex software systems to isolate and resolve issues

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Gradle, Maven, ANT, Shell scripting
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures and SDN (Software Defined Networking)
  • Experience with infrastructure automation (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
  • Background in Site Reliability Engineering principles

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must hold an active clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • 10+years of professional experience
