Silna HealthNew York City, New York
Silna Health streamlines securing treatment approvals from health insurers. Our cutting-edge technology ensures faster access to care, reduced administrative burden for clinical staff, and timely payments for providers. Based in NYC, we partner with healthcare providers nationwide and are well funded by top-tier VCs. Required Qualifications Authentic intellectual curiosity, specifically as it pertains to software. You should like computers. Backend experience. Description As Silna scales our technology platform to a broader customer base, we are expanding on a few efforts: Clinical case management. At times insurance companies require clinician action, and we’re pulling an email based process into a proper case management system, streamlining the clinical staff's processes. An external facing API. As our customers are leveraging Silna to automate never before automated processes, we have the opportunity to be the standard bearer for the proper data schema for prior authorizations. Integrating cutting edge models into our automation processes. We are integrating new technologies such as OpenAI’s end to end voice model to automate tedious phone calls and Anthropic’s computer use model to automate traditional web portals. These are just a few of the engineering challenges we are presently tackling, and with healthcare being a relatively greenfield space, there’s constantly room to leverage software to 10x efficiency across clinical staff to the back office. We are bringing on engineers to help us execute across the board. This role reports directly into Silna’s CTO. You’ll be great for this role if you: Are focused on the problem instead of the technology. We’re not doing cutting edge AI research, we’re leveraging new technologies and applying them to critical healthcare workflows. Doing so effectively requires deep understanding, genuine curiosity, and deep empathy for the patient and clinical staff. Enjoy working in a high speed collaborative environment. If you like being given a Jira board and left alone in the corner, Silna isn’t the right place for you. We’re entirely in person, and each engineer maintains context on what one another is working on. We look for ways we can collaborate and leverage shared solutions for similar engineering problems. Appreciate autonomy, agency, and accountability. Every engineer here is tasked with business outcomes, not a list of tickets. You’ll be working directly with the CTO and COO to strategize on how software can solve business problems, and you’ll be expected to translate customer needs into delivered software. Tech Stack Backend is a Flask app connected to a Postgres database, containerized and deployed leveraging ECS Frontend is a Next app statically built, deployed using s3 + Cloudfront We focus on simplicity in our technology stack so we can focus on the complexity of our customer's problems

StubHub is on a mission to redefine the live event experience on a global scale. Whether someone is looking to attend their first event or their hundredth, we’re here to delight them all the way from the moment they start looking for a ticket until they step through the gate. The same goes for our sellers. From fans selling a single ticket to the promoters of a worldwide stadium tour, we want StubHub to be the safest, most convenient way to offer a ticket to the millions of fans who browse our platform around the world. StubHub’s Fulfillment team is hiring a Software Engineer II to build reliable, scalable systems that ensure customers get valid tickets every time. Own end-to-end post-purchase flows, partner integrations, and observability work to drive measurable reliability improvements. Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) – New York, NY or Santa Monica, CA About the Fulfillment Team: The Fulfillment team builds the systems that ensure customers receive valid tickets every time. We own the post-purchase flow — barcode integrations, mobile ticketing, partner APIs, inventory reconciliation, observability, and incident response — with the mission of zero fulfillment breakage and a seamless experience for fans and sellers. Why We Need You Imagine a world where attending any live event is just a click away—a world where the excitement starts not at the gate, but the moment they decide to go. That world is built by you. Without your skills, without your dedication to enhancing the user journey through innovation and technology, the magic fades. You are the architect of dreams for millions of fans. Without you, there’s no journey to begin. What You'll Do: Design, implement, and operate backend services and integrations that power the post-purchase fulfillment pipeline (barcode validation, mobile wallets, partner APIs, inventory reconciliation). Build fault-tolerant systems and async pipelines (queues/streaming) that scale for peak event traffic and ensure idempotent, reliable delivery. Own features end-to-end: requirements, architecture, implementation, tests, deployment, monitoring, and runbooks. Work cross-functionally with Product, Data, and QA, and with two distinct Operations partners: Active Support (AS) , which owns the post-purchase customer experience and builds tools for fans and support agents; and Marketplace Operations (MOPS) , which drives inventory quality and supply across events. Together, translate business goals into measurable engineering outcomes. Instrument services with robust observability: metrics, logs, distributed traces, and alerting to proactively detect and reduce fulfillment breakage. Participate in on-call rotations, drive incident response, and lead post-incident analysis with concrete remediation plans. Contribute to continuous improvement: performance tuning, load testing, CI/CD automation, and developer experience improvements. Mentor junior engineers and participate in design/code reviews to raise team standards. We value engineers who don’t just ship features — they improve how we build. In this role you’ll be expected to both deliver and raise standards, including: Prioritize user experience, reliability, and measurable outcomes while actively raising the team’s technical bar. Identify technical debt and propose pragmatic remediation as part of your delivery. Champion engineering best practices: design docs, code quality, automated tests, CI/CD, observability, and performance tuning. Ensure acceptance criteria include engineering-level goals (reliability, test coverage, observability). Influence product trade-offs to balance user value with long-term technical health and mentor peers through reviews and design sessions. What You've Done: 3–5 years of professional software development experience building production backend systems or distributed services. Hands-on experience with at least one of: C#, Java, Python, Go, or similar backend languages. Demonstrated experience designing and implementing mission-critical systems with attention to reliability, scalability, and maintainability. Strong understanding of system design: microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, data consistency tradeoffs, and idempotency patterns. Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and designing data models for scale. Practical experience with testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and operational readiness. Experience with observability (metrics, logging, tracing) and basic incident response. Proven collaborator with strong written and verbal communication and a history of owning features end-to-end. It Would Be Nice If You’ve worked with real-time ticketing systems, barcode integrations, or similar e-commerce / ticketing platforms. You have experience with Kafka or other streaming platforms and async processing. Experience integrating third-party partner APIs — any external integrations are useful, and experience with venue systems, barcode providers, or mobile wallet providers is especially valuable. Experience operating services on AWS, GCP, or Azure. You’ve worked on reliability engineering, capacity planning, or production performance tuning. You have a passion for live events (music, sports, theater) — domain interest is welcome but not required. Success in your first 6 months: Deliver one or more production features that measurably improve the post-purchase experience and meet defined acceptance criteria. Own a service or integration (monitoring, runbooks, at least one on-call rotation). Improve detection or resolution metrics for fulfillment (for example: reduce MTTR or reduce a measurable class of fulfillment breakage). Contribute to team knowledge — code reviews, design docs, or a small developer-productivity initiative. What We Offer: Accelerated Growth Environment : An environment designed for swift skill and knowledge enhancement, where you have the autonomy to lead experiments and tests on a massive scale. Top Tier Compensation Package : Competitive base, equity, and upside that tracks with your impact. Flexible Time Of f: Enjoy unlimited Flex Time Off, giving you the flexibility to manage your schedule and take time to recharge as needed. About Context We're on a mission to unlock the next frontier of productivity for knowledge workers. Context AI is building the future of enterprise AI—systems that don't just answer questions or automate simple tasks, but execute the complex, judgment-heavy work that drives real business outcomes. The constraint blocking AI from creating true enterprise value isn't model intelligence anymore; it's institutional intelligence: understanding how your organization operates, where information lives, what quality standards matter, and how work actually gets done. Our platform solves this by automatically learning each organization's unique context—the tribal knowledge, business rules, internal lexicon, and tacit expertise that defines production-quality work. Each Context task can connect to gigabytes of data across entire codebases, data rooms, and operational systems, enabling AI agents to perform real work that knowledge workers do: engineers analyzing firmware logs to identify root causes, bankers running due diligence on multi-terabyte data rooms, analysts refreshing deliverables with live market data, and consulting teams creating client presentations and websites. We've proven our system with Fortune 100 customers, achieving 30-40% productivity improvements, reducing cycle times by over 90%, and deploying solutions in days rather than months. SeamSan Francisco, California

$130,000 - $200,000 / year

About the role We are looking for software engineers, preferably proficient in TypeScript. We prefer people who are comfortable in a full-stack role and have superhero strengths in building scalable backends. We play with a lot of hardware and spend a lot of time thinking about developer UX. We like written communications. We prefer to keep things simple and don't overthink first implementations. You should generally be curious, comfortable with the unknown, love experimentation, and be able to move fast. Below is a quick description of some of our projects. Backend API Our high-level goal is to build a device/manufacturer agnostic integration layer that connects to various devices and exposes their functionality through a simple API. This task involves integrating dozens of different IoT brands and their protocols (Z-Wave, Zigbee, BACnet, OEM API...etc) and neatly organizing them amongst common functionality. We spend a lot of time building this part of our stack. Client Libraries & APIs Our customers tend to be quite technical and some of them even contribute code to our SDKs. In general, we spend a lot of time creating tools and client libraries to make interfacing their applications with devices easier. We strive to standardize device functions across brands and hide all the nasty complexity away. Qualifications: 4+ years of full-stack development experience with expertise in TypeScript. Strong in SQL, particularly with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning. Familiarity with SRE principles, including incident management, monitoring, and system reliability. Experience in designing and maintaining scalable backend APIs and client libraries, with a focus on performance, reliability, and developer experience. You maintain a healthy balance between perfectionism and actually getting stuff done Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working with both high growth stage private start ups and larger scale companies. Previous experience or interest in IoT, hardware integration, or related fields is a bonus. Why you should join Seam Seam is an API for controlling a wide range of IoT devices. Today we primarily focus on door lock and access systems. Our customers span industries, such as hospitality, real-estate, or even last-mile delivery, and range in sieze from startups-in-garage to public companies. Across the board, their goal is the same: use code to control hardware devices, and orchestrate the physical world. Our team is made of alums from Nest, Sonder, Stanford, Apple, Latch, Berkeley, YC, and more. We shipped millions of IoT devices and built dev tools used by every developer on earth. We are advised by the amazing Bunnie Huang and backed by Tiger Global, Root VC, founders and execs at Stripe, Plaid, and Airbnb, and other amazing angels and funds. About You We generally seek "sharp minds with kind souls." We prefer generalists over specialists; we move quickly, with purpose; we enjoy working with each other and aim to be the best. Benefits 100% employer-paid health care insurance including medical, dental, vision + 75% dependent coverage Our comprehensive benefits package includes a company managed 401K, Flexible Spending Accounts, coverage for gynecological services and support for family-building initiatives, access to mental health services, etc. Paid Time Off and Company paid holidays Free in-office lunch daily Base Pay Range: $130k - $200k per year + Equity

Job Description

Silna Health streamlines securing treatment approvals from health insurers. Our cutting-edge technology ensures faster access to care, reduced administrative burden for clinical staff, and timely payments for providers. Based in NYC, we partner with healthcare providers nationwide and are well funded by top-tier VCs.

Required Qualifications

  • Authentic intellectual curiosity, specifically as it pertains to software. You should like computers.

  • Backend experience.

Description

As Silna scales our technology platform to a broader customer base, we are expanding on a few efforts:

  • Clinical case management. At times insurance companies require clinician action, and we’re pulling an email based process into a proper case management system, streamlining the clinical staff's processes.

  • An external facing API. As our customers are leveraging Silna to automate never before automated processes, we have the opportunity to be the standard bearer for the proper data schema for prior authorizations.

  • Integrating cutting edge models into our automation processes.

You’ll be great for this role if you:

  • Are focused on the problem instead of the technology. We’re not doing cutting edge AI research, we’re leveraging new technologies and applying them to critical healthcare workflows. Doing so effectively requires deep understanding, genuine curiosity, and deep empathy for the patient and clinical staff.

  • Enjoy working in a high speed collaborative environment. If you like being given a Jira board and left alone in the corner, Silna isn’t the right place for you. We’re entirely in person, and each engineer maintains context on what one another is working on. We look for ways we can collaborate and leverage shared solutions for similar engineering problems.

  • Appreciate autonomy, agency, and accountability. Every engineer here is tasked with business outcomes, not a list of tickets. You’ll be working directly with the CTO and COO to strategize on how software can solve business problems, and you’ll be expected to translate customer needs into delivered software.

Tech Stack

Backend is a Flask app connected to a Postgres database, containerized and deployed leveraging ECS

Frontend is a Next app statically built, deployed using s3 + Cloudfront

We focus on simplicity in our technology stack so we can focus on the complexity of our customer's problems

Automate your job search with Sonara.

Submit 10x as many applications with less effort than one manual application.
