Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining the strategy for tools that support developer productivity, systems, DevOps practice
  • Evangelizing, planning, and supporting build systems (e.g., Bazel, Buck2, CMake)

  • Collaborating with product development, infrastructure, platform, security, and QA teams on respective projects

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in software development or DevOps
  • At least 3-5 years of team management or technical leadership experience
  • Knowledge of languages C++, Rust, and Python preferred
  • Expertise in build tools, dependency management, and packaging (e.g., Bazel, Buck2, CMake)
  • Strong experience with DevOps tooling (e.g. CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), IaC)
  • Experience with Cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS) preferred
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems
  • The ability to lead and motivate technical teams
  • The ability to manage projects and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Systematic approach to troubleshooting and solving complex productivity or infrastructure issues
  • Experience in performance optimization and scalability.
