RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers across multiple projects and domains.
  • Define and drive the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap in alignment with business goals.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software.

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Documentation and Communication: Strong documentation skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient in engaging with a diverse array of stakeholders, including those with technical and non-technical backgrounds.
  • Successful managing engineering teams, including frontend and backend, across various levels from mid to senior; making strategic decisions, and delivering successful technical project outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adept at breaking down large projects into smaller, actionable tasks and ensuring their completion through team collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on teamwork.
  • Deep understanding of computer science and engineering fundamentals, such as databases, REST-ful APIs, web apps, mobile apps, authentication+ authorization, data structures, solution design, architecture, and design patterns.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor during high stress situations
  • A disposition to function in a team environment and to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to use tact, discretion, and independent judgment to analyze and resolve work problems
