For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $202,000-$258,000. Description:The F-35 Sensor Fusion team is seeking a highly motivated engineer to join our team in developing the next generation of sensor fusion algorithms. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, modeling, analyzing and testing Fusion algorithms as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into Fusion applications.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
  • Experience with C++ and MATLAB
  • Strong mathematical foundation in Linear Algebra, Probability Theory, Filtering, and Statistics
  • Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience - (Windows & Linux)
  • Experience with C++, C#, OOP, OOD, Design Patterns, Clean Architecture, and Test Driven Development
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Desired Skills:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and deploying sensor processing algorithms for RADAR, Electronic Warfare, infrared/optical sensors, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, and IMUs
  • Experience with conventional tracking approaches (Kalman Filter, Extended Kalman Filter, Unscented Kalman Filter, Particle Filter), Data Association, and applications of these approaches
  • Experience with Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) concepts such as UCI, FACE, VICTORY, AMS GRA, etc is a plus
  • Experience working with legacy codebases or service based architectures
