Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) Administrator   Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 10 years Position Overview The CAD Administrator manages and maintains the Computer-Aided-Dispatch (CAD) system. ensuring it runs efficiently, securely, and supports emergency services. This role involves installing, configuring, and troubleshooting software, managing databases, and trainer users. The administrator collaborates with IT teams, public safety personnel, and vendors to enhance system functionality while ensuring accurate data for reporting and analysis.   Key Responsibilities CAD System Management: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and configuration of Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) software. The CAD Administrator manages the CAD and mobile application software settings to ensure efficient operation. This includes software setup, security, code file maintenance, version updates, and managing support issues. The CAD administrator manages CAD system databases to ensure data accuracy, which includes updating information on streets, subdivisions, and response locations. The administrator will also evaluate data for new streets and subdivisions and input the information into the CAD system.
