Role Overview: Reporting to the VP Relationships team for Americas, we are seeking a Software Development Consultant to work with Daon clients and partners in delivering identity assurance solutions. The ideal candidate has a versatile software engineer background with backend development expertise and the flexibility to work across multiple technology stacks. As a Wireless Software Engineer on these programs, you will be solving a wide range of novel engineering challenges: Firmware, embedded, and signal processing software running on custom hardware that flies the world's largest fleet of spacecraft. Role Overview:

Reporting to the VP Relationships team for Americas, we are seeking a Software Development Consultant to work with Daon clients and partners in delivering identity assurance solutions. The ideal candidate has a versatile software engineer background with backend development expertise and the flexibility to work across multiple technology stacks. The role calls for an individual with working knowledge of mobile platforms-specifically iOS (Swift), Android (Kotlin/Java) and Web (React, Angular) -to support integration, troubleshooting, and implementation in customer environments.

Essential Functions and Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on assigned software design, development, testing, and documentation tasks.
  • Work closely with the team to understand requirements and technology to ensure functional requirements are met by a delivered solution.
  • Participate in daily status meetings to share status, learn what others on the team are up to, and pitch in when you can.
  • Apply software development best practices to development and configuration management tasks.
  • Accurately estimate time needed for completion of tasks.
  • Escalate issues to management team.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, consulting customers on best practices for deployment, integration, and operational excellence.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and customer environments
