Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Manager Computer Systems Analysis 1 to join its Classified IT Solutions Team and manage a team of Systems Administrators across multiple programs and efforts. This position is located in San Diego, CA; please note that due to the classified nature of this position, the selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time, at our Rancho Carmel campus - this is not a remote work opportunity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a broad skill set that is balanced between interpersonal, business, and technical capabilities. Roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Lead a team of Systems Administrators performing direct work on Information Systems and other computer models. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills. Use good judgement to pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results. Work closely with program-assigned technicians and systems engineers and management to ensure that computer systems and software stay in a high state of readiness. Maintain a high quality of system efficiency Oversee and manage the quality and timeliness of the organization's products, and identify and remediate potential issues before they become problems. Develop and manage detailed budgets and schedules, and create work assignments for indirect tasking. The successful candidate will support multiple programs and have functional management duties, which will fluctuate throughout the year due to business needs and performance. Basic Qualifications: Associate's degree and 7 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience; a High School diploma or equivalent with 9 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of completed degree. Applicants must have an active DoD Secret level security clearance (at a minimum), to include a closed investigation date completed within the last 6 years, or must be enrolled in the DoD Continuous Evaluation Program (CEP), in order to be considered; the required security clearance must be maintained as a condition of continued employment. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs as a condition of continued employment. Experience with Microsoft Windows software and Linux OS. Experience with VMware and/or other virtualization specialties. Experience with Windows Active Directory and VMware processes and configuration. Experience with software/hardware management. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology Management or related discipline. IAM Level I certification or equivalent (ex: Security+ CE) or greater. Strong background in software troubleshooting and experience with the process of Software Review Boards, Agile, or equivalent. Demonstrated strong team building/collaboration skills. Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, and/or CentOS. Prior experience with vCenter, vSphere, and/or ESXi. Prior experience in information systems management. Proven leadership qualities and strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated professionalism and the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations. Demonstrated ability to build diverse/inclusive teams with engaged team members. Demonstrated mentoring and coaching skills. Previous experience leading a team of 5-12 employees. Salary Range: $118,000.00 - $177,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
