Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Software Acquisition and Production Manager to join our dynamic team in Colorado Springs, CO, or Dayton, OH, to oversee and approve task planning on several large projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Acquisition: Develop and refine innovative software acquisition strategies for the nation's emerging capabilities.
• Requirements Analysis: Recommend and refine detailed operational requirements for emerging space domain awareness visualization and data fusion technologies
• Program Management: Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation to achieve aggressive project timelines and cutting-edge technology outcomes.
• Advanced Modeling Techniques: Recommend and leverage software modeling and test tools to validate performance.
• Team Leadership: Mentor junior and senior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.

Required Qualifications:

• BA / BS in Engineering, Science or related field
• 10+ years of overall experience and 5+ years of experience in program/project management.
• Clearance: Minimum Secret with the ability to quickly obtain TS, SCI, SAP.
• Complex System Design: Experience in designing and developing complex systems of systems and enterprise architectures.
• Program Management: Proven track record in managing and delivering complex projects with approximately 5+ years of experience in program/project management. Experience should include managing complex software development projects.
• Team Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills in a collaborative environment. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively within all organizational levels, including senior DoD leadership.
• Defense Sector Experience: Previous experience in the defense sector or with DoD projects.
• Proven ability to recommend, embrace and implement change in a fast-paced, high-performing, hand-picked organization.

Desired Qualifications:

• AI/ML Methods: Familiarity with AI/ML applications and test methods.
• Emerging Technologies: Interest in and experience with the latest system modeling and engineering techniques and languages.
• Software Acquisition: Experience in large-scale USG software acquisition program(s).

Work Environment:

• Location: On-site
• Working Hours: Normal business hours

Compensation:

• For Colorado only, the salary range for this position is approximately $160,000 - $190,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Other Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
