ZamsSan Francisco, California
Description Zams is an AI command center for B2B sales teams. It connects to the tools you already use—Salesforce, Hubspot, Slack, Apollo, Gong and more—and turns them into one seamless system. Instead of clicking through tools, you just say what you want in English and Zams does it. We’re a small, scrappy team backed by some of the top venture capital firms in the US, moving fast with a strong bias for action and attention to detail. Joining Zams now means stepping onto the ground floor of a company with a massive mission and momentum. You’ll have the chance to make an outsized impact, see your ideas go from concept to reality in weeks, and play a direct role in shaping how companies everywhere adopt AI. It’s the perfect environment for someone who thrives in fast-paced startups, wants to learn quickly, and is ready to grow alongside a team that’s defining the future of sales. About You As a Software Engineer at Zams, you'll be on the ground floor of an incredible opportunity to pair your engineering mastery with solving critical business challenges across industries. Zams is already powering automation for companies, and our users deeply value our speed, reliability, and customer-centric approach. In this role, you’ll be a core contributor to the product itself—not just building features, but shaping the way the entire platform evolves. You’ll work across all layers of the stack, from crafting intuitive frontends to architecting robust backend systems. This is a rare opportunity to touch every component of a high-impact product, while working side by side with the founding team. We're looking for someone who thrives in a scrappy, fast-paced environment, has strong knowledge of AI and LLMs, and is eager to learn continuously. You should be excited by the idea of solving a wide range of engineering and data challenges with autonomy and ownership. If you’re passionate about building, shipping fast, and learning new things every day, we’d love to meet you. Responsibilities Be a key engineer driving the development of Zams’ core product, helping ship meaningful features rapidly and iteratively. Work end-to-end across the stack, including backend services, frontend interfaces, infrastructure, and developer tools. Handle critical aspects of frontend development, including routing, state management, authentication guards, and UI frameworks like Tailwind and ShadCN. Design, build, and scale reliable SaaS applications with a focus on performance and usability. Deploy and manage apps via Vercel or similar platforms. Leverage AI-powered developer tools such as Cursor or other coding copilots to accelerate engineering workflows. Collaborate closely with the founders and a small, agile team in an in-office environment, contributing to both customer-facing products and internal innovation projects. Continuously explore and integrate new tools, patterns, and frameworks to improve engineering velocity. Requirements 1+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer (or similar role) in a professional environment Strong knowledge and experience with AI and LLMs Experience with Next.js and Node.js Strong with Typescript Proficiency in React.js, including libraries, state management, routing, and authentication guards. A history of working on multiple SaaS applications, either end-to-end or on key components. Demonstrated ability to work independently or in small teams, ideally in startup environments. Strong portfolio of personal passion projects, hackathon participation, or side projects. Entrepreneurial mindset—has either worked at a startup or attempted to start one. Highly motivated and in the early stages of their career (20s), eager to prove themselves and be part of something big. Job Description

Description

Zams is an AI command center for B2B sales teams.

About You

As a Software Engineer at Zams, you'll be on the ground floor of an incredible opportunity to pair your engineering mastery with solving critical business challenges across industries.

Responsibilities

  • Be a key engineer driving the development of Zams’ core product, helping ship meaningful features rapidly and iteratively.
  • Work end-to-end across the stack, including backend services, frontend interfaces, infrastructure, and developer tools.
  • Handle critical aspects of frontend development, including routing, state management, authentication guards, and UI frameworks like Tailwind and ShadCN.
  • Design, build, and scale reliable SaaS applications with a focus on performance and usability.
  • Deploy and manage apps via Vercel or similar platforms.
  • Leverage AI-powered developer tools such as Cursor or other coding copilots to accelerate engineering workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with the founders and a small, agile team in an in-office environment, contributing to both customer-facing products and internal innovation projects.
  • Continuously explore and integrate new tools, patterns, and frameworks to improve engineering velocity.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer (or similar role) in a professional environment
  • Strong knowledge and experience with AI and LLMs
  • Experience with Next.js and Node.js
  • Strong with Typescript
