Compensation: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour How It All Began The Dryer Vent Wizard franchise system was founded in 2004 in the Boston area by David Lavalle, who also founded the Mr. Handyman franchise. The idea was born when Lavalle realized the need for a specialist for dryer vents. He had frequently encountered homeowners having dryer vent issues that required an urgent response, but who had no one to look to for service. The issues he commonly saw were the result of dryer vent lint accumulation, blockages, disrepair, or improper venting configurations. With such a great need for dryer vent specialists, the franchise quickly expanded into a successful business specializing in dryer fire prevention and energy savings through vent cleaning, inspection, repair, and maintenance for residential and commercial properties. Our Growth & Our Future Dryer Vent Wizard has now grown across the United States and Canada with nearly 120 locally owned and operated franchise locations. These franchise locations, although independently operated, receive national support from our headquarters, located in Irving, TX. Dryer Vent Wizard is a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) with franchisees across the country working with local fire departments to help raise awareness on how to prevent dryer fires. Dryer Vent Wizard was ranked as a 2014 Forbes Magazine Top 10 Franchise with an investment of under $150k and is on the 2019 Entrepreneur Top 100 Franchises for under $100k list. All of this adds up to a very bright future for Dryer Vent Wizard and its franchisees! Notice DVW LLC is the franchisor of the Dryer Vent Wizard® franchised system. Each Dryer Vent Wizard® franchised location is independently-owned and operated by an independent franchisee performing services. As a service to its independent franchisees, DVW LLC lists employment opportunities available throughout the franchised network so those employment opportunities may be conveniently found by interested parties at one central location for brand management purposes only. HVAC Trainer/Technician
Benjamin Franklin PlumbingLakeport, California
Home Services Company/Plumbing Company looking to expand into HVAC. We need an experienced HVAC Tech to help start a new company and train new techs. You’re the old dog who will forget more than the young punks will ever know about HVAC, hell, life. If this describes you, then we can talk. You’ve put in the time, done the work, and know that you’re pretty much the best guy around. You also know that the future is bleak when it comes to apprentices coming into the trade, but feel the need to pass on your wisdom. You probably had a mentor that you feel a deep sense of gratitude for what he taught you. Friendship and no BS relationships with people are important above all else, Life hasn’t handed you anything; You’ve created your own opportunities, worked longer, harder and smarter to get ahead. You probably invented the phrase “Shit Happens”, but know it’s always been up to you to work through it and can appreciate when someone helps instead of demanding that someone do the work for you. You know that life will throw down situations where you have the choice to go above and beyond to help another human being. You aspire to do so. You get the value of laughter. You can take a joke, can give a joke and understand that people are not always going to be easy. You strive to support the people you work with and don’t expect that helping them means they have to help you. You take to heart the cliché that the whole, truly is greater than the sum of the parts. You have the courage to doubt the boss, not for personal reasons, but through the insight that the boss has his own struggles and needs help just like anyone else. You can give and take criticism. Hell, in this case, we’re looking for you to BE the Boss! Notice we haven’t rattled on about how much money you’ll make? Just know that employee ownership is part of the plan and a Supervisor needs commensurate compensation. We demand more of our employees/partners than most other companies do, and we expect them to demand more of us. If you are the person who wants to put us to the test and see if we can back that up, then you are the one we want to talk to. If you read this far, it may just be the start of what you’re looking for. Join the Benjamin Franklin Plumbing Team! We want to make joining our team as easy as possible.
