  • Trade school or secondary school
  • Manufacture’s training on commercial HVAC equipment

Position Overview:

  • Experienced service project technician to perform HVAC/R mechanic work including installation of various types of commercial HVAC/R systems
  • Ability to diagnose, maintain, repair, and replace HVAC systems and components
  • Includes installation and start-up of various HVAC systems
  • Must be competent in electrical safety procedures
  • Experience and working knowledge of hydronic systems
  • Ability to safely use a variety of equipment such as hand tools, computers (preferred), diagnostic and testing equipment
  • Ability to perform brazing and soldering
  • Experience reading wiring diagrams
  • Experience with electrical troubleshooting
  • Capable of assessing risk and knowing when to use appropriate or required PPE
  • Should possess good organizational and planning skills
  • Ability and confidence to work alone or as a member of a 2-3 person team
  • Accurately document hours worked, materials used, and tasks performed on daily basis per Company policy
  • Follow established Company policies and procedures
  • Decision making abilities and sound judgement to safely and effectively solve problems
  • Ability to communicate with customers about project planning, issues or impacts
  • Computer skills a plus
  • DDC controls systems a plus but not required
  • Universal EPA certification required
  • Minimum 3 years practical working in HVAC mechanical equipment service industry
  • Full time position with a solid 40-hour work week and periodic overtime opportunities that are job or project specific.

  • Full benefit package offered through Local 162.

    Paid PTO provided through the company; paid holidays per Local 162 calendar.
